Folkestone: Does anyone know of a job that can be secure and can bring in a good amount of income but that is flexible?
I have an associate's in Fashion Design, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and don't know if I should do a one year accelerated program to get my bachelor's in Nursing. I am currently studying Multimedia Arts and Sciences will most likely major in video production. I am aiming of becoming a college professor while taking a master's degree.
But I am wondering how much they earn in a year here in the Philippines. Specially in Mapua. Would it be more than enough for a living?
You might say that do what I really want... but in today's economy.. I have to take account of also liking how I live.

Folkestone: I have a tax nightmare, a master's in accounting, and I still can't figure it out.?
Ok, I was a full time graduate student from January to July of this year. I graduated in May but took an extra course to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam. I'm an auditor though, so that's why this tax issue is eluding me :). I'm 21, and will not turn 22 until January of 2009. I did work while I was in school, and I have a full time job now. However, I did not provide over half of my support while I was in school. I plan on getting married in two weeks (December 15, 2008). My mom still wants to claim me for 2008. If I file married filing separately (as would be appropriate), can my mother still claim me as a dependent? Help!

Folkestone: I got fired from my job on wednsday don't they have to pay me?
so I went to work for this company for two weeks and then got fired becuase of the ahole that was training me on day one he came to me and told me he didn't think I had any right to be at this company and continued to say bad things about me to the boss until I got fired. now yes I'm pissed about that but what ever the boss is a push over he lets this guy walk all over him like he owns the place. any way the point is on the 26th i was informed I would no longer be working there as far as i'm concerned I got let go the 25th he just didn't have the balls to tell me. but at like 9 in the morning on the 26th I got let go now nh labor law states the company has 72 hours to pay...

*health clinic
*a company that owns the building where the clinic is.

I've read other similar questions, but they don't seem to apply to me. I currently call myself the AA. Though other employees refer to me as the secretary when speaking to customers.
I work at a small business that has 8 employees. I handle all the A/P, A/R, billing and banking. I work with an accountant and CPA during tax season. I do answer phones as a receptionist would.
