Exeter: Should I stop going to college for now because I don't know what to do?
Right now Im a student (4th year of college). Im a gogo dancer (non nude) (500-1000 dollars a night). My goal is to graduate college with a degree that leads to a career that allows me to make at least as much money as I do now. I love dancing and performing but unfotunately, its not a long term career. I love making money. I love shopping and what I like about my current job is 1. the fact that how much money I make depends on how well I do my job (its innovative), not an hourly wage. 2. its challenging and you get alot of recognition for being good at what you do. 3. I get to socialize with people and figure out what they like. 4. its glamorous...I LOVE experimenting with hair, makeup and ...

I need help to write in a good english a motivation letter. I wrote it but I think there are many mistakes. Can you please check my english? the letter shouldn't be formal; all suggestion are accepted!! thank you!!! I am XXXX an undergraduate student of Computer Engineering at the University of Tor Vergata. I am 22 years old and I live in Rome, my hometown. Since I was a little child I wanted to travel, and spend some time in a foreign country and culture; I am an open-minded girl that likes to meet new people, cultures and styles of life. This is the main reason because last year I decided to leave Italy and live one year outside my home, and my country. I reached the ...

Exeter: How far will ESPORTA GYM go to get money? (does anyone have experience with them?)?
I signed a 12month combined contract at ESPORTA.So the money was coming out of my account for me and my partner. After a month i had to move house. They could not divide contract , so it was either we move both to new gym or i pay 130 every month. after 2 months they finally moved us.but my partner had lost his business and we not together anymore. To add to that i started to go to university and minimised my work to minimum part time hours. So shortly i cancelled the contract and send them a letter with explanations and a letter from manager at work and informed them that my ex will be sending a letter from job as well. However I received a letter demanding a payment of 137 pounds or it will be ...

Exeter: I have a tax nightmare, a master's in accounting, and I still can't figure it out.?
Ok, I was a full time graduate student from January to July of this year. I graduated in May but took an extra course to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam. I'm an auditor though, so that's why this tax issue is eluding me :). I'm 21, and will not turn 22 until January of 2009. I did work while I was in school, and I have a full time job now. However, I did not provide over half of my support while I was in school. I plan on getting married in two weeks (December 15, 2008). My mom still wants to claim me for 2008. If I file married filing separately (as would be appropriate), can my mother still claim me as a dependent? Help! Note: On my W-4 I have not claimed any allowances ...

Exeter: Statue Of Limitations in NC Medical Malpractice?
I've just recently found out that a surgical sponge has been left in me after having hernia surgery back in 2001. I've had abdominal pain which I thought was due to a small cyst on my ovaries. I lived with the pain due to being a college student with 2 part time jobs and no health insurance. After having severe pain most of the night, I went to the ER and the ER doc orderd a CT scan which revealed a sponge located in my lower abdomin near my bladder. That explained the constant urinary tract infections I've had over the years as well as my stomach pains. What are my rights? Is it too late? I'm taking pain meds to alleviate the pain and I'm scheduled to have surgery ...

Exeter: Help with a control freak?
I started dating this woman about 2 years ago. She is currently finishing a masters degree at a university on the other side of canada (to which I left my job and followed her). I love this woman very much, but am having incredible difficulty dealing with her controlling attitude. She is constantly asking me about how productive I am with my free time, and informing me she will not date someone who does not have a degree . I am not university material, but I decided I would try it. On my accord as much as hers. I wasnt capable, and began failing in my second semester of first year, it upset me quite a bit, I dropped out, and am now having to pay back my loans. She constantly te...

Exeter: Can you consolidate loans if you have bad credit?
I have an insane amount of student loans and since the economy went south, so did my chances of a job in that field that would have helped with repayment. I barely make any money as it is and now I have the student loan creditors after me and a person who cosigned one of my loans. This past year my credit went from great to horrible. I want to consolidate my loans in hopes of a smaller monthly payment, but someone mentioned that if you have bad credit it doesn't help. I feel like I was misinformed by the school I attended and am having trouble getting the right information. Does anyone know a good place to go to get info on help with student loans? I know it sounds silly, but wouldn...

Exeter: Will majoring in Creative Writing get me anywhere? (College help)?
Hello. I currently attend University of Houston and want to major in English Creative Writing because it is the only thing I'm good at... but would it get me anywhere other than being a teacher? I heard it was hard to get a job with an English major. I'm not that great of a student (I don't excel above most people) just an average student, I don't have connections at all or many friends. I do have a passion though in Filming. It would be nice to work with the movie or entertainment industry or help create movies or shows but I heard it would be hard to get anywhere if you don't live in L.A, California or don't even have connections. I doubt I can even move to L....
