Exeter: How can I get Bartending gigs? Help?
I had to recently figure what we can do to make extra money, so i decided on bartending school, i am almost through with the school and I have great personality and a lot of knowledge about drinks and making them. I just recently did 1 gig, a private party and I think that is what would work for me the best. I had to get a second job because we are on the verge of loosing our home, my husband works as well but he is a painting contractor and his business has been horrible, but he is working like 7 days a week so that we can make it. Any suggestions on how to go about advertising my Bartending services? I can't afford to pay for advertising....

Exeter: What is the problem with my Baxi Boiler.?
I Have a baxi boiler which works the water but for some unknown reason it is not firing the centraql heating..when i turn it on to the heating it tries but does not fire..it cuts off and goes on the red light...is this a big job??...

I donated $18 dollars to the ASPCA in January of 2008, only to find out they take that $18 every month. So I canceled my donations in February of 2008. In order to donate that money, I had to give my check card number. In 9 months I lost my job and am currently on unemployment. In NC, the unemployment money goes onto a state issued debit card which obviously is not the same card that I had when I first made a donation. I am 63 and I took early retirement at 62. I understand that my earnings (as shown on my w-2) are limited to 13,600 for 08 and 14,000 for 2009. I also know that any w-2 earnings over these amounts result in 1 for 2 penalties from Social Security in the future. My question is If I am an owner operator of a small (very small) businness are those earnings subject to the same Social Security penalties? If those earnings are subject to SS penalties, is it the amount after deductions that is penalized? All monies from the small business would be in addition to the 14,000 wages. I have been working in a new job for about three months that has been making me miserable and that I am a horrible fit for. One of my old managers has recently offered me a new position which he said I could either start in two weeks or at the beginning of the year.
