Exeter: Got job interview with DWP for AO post. Can you give me some tips?
I have a job interview coming up with the DWP for an Admin Officer role, and was wondering if anybody has experience of this panel interview? If so, can you give me a few tips, advice etc. on the interview?
The questions they are going to ask me about are as follows:
1. Improving Performance
2. Building Constructive Working Relationships
3. Engaging Effectively With Customers
4. Making The Best Use of Resources
I have to give specific examples of each, so as I say, any advice etc. on each of these questions and the general interview would be much appreciated.

Exeter: Where is a good place to get a job that requires no real experience?
I really need a job right now. I am a student and after this week I'll have no classes for 2 months. I will work anywhere, any time and for minimum wage. The only real job I had was retail and I quit because I got no shifts (I was pretty much just there to cover other workers). I tried working at my local supermarket, but a few days after I had my interview they got new management and messed up any chance I had of getting hired. I really need ideas for places to work. The mall is always an option, but I'm having trouble thinking outside the box . If you can offer me advice, tips, or ideas for places to look, it would be really helpful.

Exeter: Help guys!, I got an interview in Home Depot tomorrow....?
I'll be honest guys... here's my situation I worked in walmart for 3 yrs as an electronics associate and a cashier but just got fired this month... I got fired because my mouth slipped of telling my new co-worker the part of my MySpace profile where I mention there that I got 'huge dick'... w/c I terribly regret and learned never to do it again...
I applied to another stores like target, best buy, food town, where I told them I got fired but only write I did an unwelcome pass to fellow associate because I really don't want to tell them myself and just let my managers explain them what happen. I have a current job but i had a call from an agency stating there was another job which i want to do, so i went for the interviews and the interviewers at the new job and agency said i have the job, this was on 25th november i got the approval, now today i had a call from agency stating that the job place doesnt want me. Exeter: How do you know you have the job?
I recently went on an interview with a growing but well established a/c repair company. My interview was with the woman I would be working directly for and with. She seemed to be the boss of everyone but the owners. I think the interview went really well. I had that feeling like I GOT IT! She said things like you have everything we need for this position and you would definately fit in around here . However, she said they will make a decision in a couple of weeks. Last month my bf was arrested on a DUI and he needed money to make bail. I put together what I could but was still short, so I had to use the money that my parents gave me for school books only because my bf assured me it was a loan and promised to pay me back before the holidays but after I paid to have him released, I let him borrow my granma's car (which I use for work) so he could get to a job interview and he never came back! Exeter: Does a call from a possible future employer mean i got the job?
Okay folks, I need your help. I had a job interview earlier in November and at the advice of you kind people, I was advised a week later to follow up too see if any decision had been made, and was informed that no decision was yet made at the time. Just this past Wednesday, I was left a message from that potential future employer that they were following up with me to let me know that they would let me know what their decision was by Wednesday or Thursday.
