Exeter: What stereotypes do you NOT like and which ones DO you like about yourself?
Everyone hates fitting into negative stereotypes, but I notice when it's a GOOD stereotype, it's right? So is it OK to do or not? Its pretty hypocritical to be upset when people say: Mexicans are lazy, Middle Eastern people are all terrorists, white people can't dance, blacks steal... and then turn around and say yeah, that's right when people say black guys are HUGE, Latinos are great boxers, Asians are all smart, the English accent is sexy So which stereotypes make you mad and which ones do you like regarding YOU? (Ethnic, sub-culture, where you live, job title, etc.)...

Exeter: How do I write a convincing alien invasion sci-fi novel?
How do I write a convincing alien invasion sci-fi novel. In my story, Antoine Benoit is fired from his job and must care for his younger 13-year-old sister. On the drive home, he picks up a drifter who is hitchhiking. She pulls off her hood and is so pretty, but bites him, mutating into an alien creature with fangs and horns and six legs like an insect. Antoine awakens in a hospital charged with joining a team of commandos to take out the alien creatures who are plaguing Chicago. His sister is being kept at a security bunker. Antoine finds he carried a resistance to the bite so instead of mutating into an alien (Venator) he develops some of their abilities and uses these to aide the crew in ...

Exeter: Should I take a year off from college, or will this screw up my credits?
I am currently going to a college that I don't really like, I got into my first choice college...and for some reason picked this one! I am having a hard time here, and think since I am having a bad attitude about it...it makes it harder for me to want to meet people. So, I am planning on transferring next year but am unsure where I want to go. So, I was thinking maybe when this year is over I should take a year off of college (I am a freshman right now), only if I get this job in Africa for a family friend. I feel like it would give me some time to mature more and grow as a person...but the two colleges I am looking at transferring to are on a semester schedule, while I am on a quart...

Exeter: Parkway Lending Group?
I was contacted by a gentlemand named Joshua Redd who stated that I was approved for a loan of $5000.00. He advised me because I have some credit issues that I would have to secure the loan with $1200 which would equl the first 8 months worth of loan payments. So basically I would not have a payment due until Aug of 2009. I agreed (like an idiot) to wire some lady named Linda Price in Canada $1200.00 on a Thursday and supposedly the funds were to be deposited in my account on Friday. Well I wired the money as promised, called Joshua with the money gram number and he stated the funds were good to go and would be in my account the next day. Well Friday came around and I received a phone call f...

Exeter: I wish to move from the UK to the US to live with my girlfriend - what are my options?
I know I have access to two types of visa, a work based visa or a family based visa. But that's where my knowledge ends. If I take a 90 day tourism trip to the US under the Visa Waiver Program, can I secure a job during that 90 days and apply for a work based Visa? If not, can I get married and apply for a family based Visa during those 90 days? Thanks....

Exeter: How to become a financially successful Graphite artist / GED / Life... etc! Need advise please!?
I am 19 years old & am currently working as a Secretary/Receptionist and pretty much I hate my job! It is not for me, I would much rather be drawing (but really who wouldn't want to do what they love all the time?). I was Home Schooled and quit school early so I could get my GED and I have still yet to get it (gosh, what a stupid decision I made!). I'm afraid that I am going to fail the Math and who knows what else. I think my job tends to distract me (not to mention boys/relationships) away from things that I really want to do as a career and makes me forget sometimes that I still need to get my GED and go to college (pretty much as you can tell, my brain can't multitask....

Exeter: Help finding work....?
im 23 years old and i am having trouble finding work. I have worked many temporary jobs and am tired of the entry level positions that have severely limited room for growth. I am planning to start college soon so I can further my education in hopes that my next job can be decent. In the mean time I still have to be able to support myself. Im not sure if the financial aid I will receive will be enough to pay my bills and take care of my schooling. I am wondering if anybody can help me find a way to make money online that is actually gonna pay me. Thank you all very much for your time and any help you can provide....

Exeter: How can I look for or find an international job?
I would like to find a job out of the US for 1-2 years but do not wish to join the military, want to be somewhere safe but do not want to travel for a living. I am not sure what I want to do. I want something interesting, meaningful and a big change. I don't have an education, but I am 34 and have worked since 14 and have had many successful jobs in different fields. Any great ideas, or good websites or businesses I can check with?...
