Exeter: How can I get Bartending gigs? Help?
I had to recently figure what we can do to make extra money, so i decided on bartending school, i am almost through with the school and I have great personality and a lot of knowledge about drinks and making them. I just recently did 1 gig, a private party and I think that is what would work for me the best. I had to get a second job because we are on the verge of loosing our home, my husband works as well but he is a painting contractor and his business has been horrible, but he is working like 7 days a week so that we can make it. Any suggestions on how to go about advertising my Bartending services? I can't afford to pay for advertising....

We've been living together for about 1 1/2 years now, engaged in July. I do love this girl. But we work totally different hours. She's a 9-5er, 'real' job. I'm not done with college yet (which she reminds me of) but work at a decent restaurant. She frequently works 10+ hour days, and I don't know that it's totally necessary. I know she's trying to establish herself there, but I worry that she is setting the bar of expectations too high for her future, in terms of what her bosses think she is capable of. I am 19 years old & am currently working as a Secretary/Receptionist and pretty much I hate my job! It is not for me, I would much rather be drawing (but really who wouldn't want to do what they love all the time?). I lost my job in July 4 months after my second child was born.
I had been working for my cousin for the last 7 years and when I found out I was pregnant with my 1st child I asked if I could work from home because I would not be able to make ends meet for childcare and our bills.
