Edinburgh: Unlocked iPhone & international travel...?
I am traveling to Dublin, Ireland (and Edinburgh, UK) in about a month.
I currently have an unlocked iPhone and am using T-Mobile as a service provider.
While in Dublin, I want to be able to use my phone... but I am not sure what the best option is for international calls.
I was considering buying a Calling Card, to have better international rates... But then I also read a little about World SIM cards.
While in Ireland, I also want to be able to use the internet on my phone (for instance EDGE). I want to be able to get the best rate on international roaming with a cellular data plan. This is important to me, unless there is Wireless all over Dublin/Ireland, because I have a DublinBus app on my phone to help with my travels.
So basically, I want to use my unlocked iPhone in Ireland. I don't want to incur crazy roaming charges for calls to and from the US, or for roaming while using EDGE... What is the best way to go about doing this?
Should I call t-mobile? Just buy a calling card? Try a world SIM? Or something else?
Thanks to anyone who can help, this is causing me a bit of confusion. 03 Jul 09, 10:07:41

Edinburgh: Can you please rank these UK universities from the following view points properly?
I have admission from these universities in UK. Can you arrange them from the 1st the best one down. Good universities for living ( from cost, weather and city friendly wise) for an international student. I mean from all the good point not only the university but everything together. How would you mark them?
1. Brunel University (in London)
2. Kent University
3. Bradford University
4. Staffordshire
5. Kingston
6. Nottingham
7. Sussex
8. Portsmouth
9. Edinburgh
10. Newcastle
11. Lancaster
12. Westminster University (in London again)
Well I am looking for a good university, with affordable cost of living and for a someone tht enjoys being quite in the nature, loves biking and good weather. (now not the best university, but a good one with those conditions) 03 Jul 09, 06:07:38
