hi i am a returning student at community college who finally decided on my career but I have a problem that has been stressing me out it is my current academic status when i started out in college i was going through lots of family problem and financial problem that caused me a hard time coming to school and also at that time i wasn't sure what i really wanted to do. Edinburgh: Am I majoring in the right computer subject?
Hi, I'm currently majoring to get my associates degree in computer science. But i don't know if this is the right major. I want to be able to fix computers like take them apart and fix whats wrong then put it back together. Edinburgh: If I'm taking calculus, organic chem and bio, should I work part time?
I need really good grades for med school, like 4.0s next few quarters, and I took a min wage labor job. I would be obligated to work at least a few hours/week after school. I heard calculus is REALLY hard. Am I doing the right thing? My grades need to improve over the past. Is work good for my resume? I've never been promoted, but focused on academics. I put work on my applications though. The money isn't anything. I'm 18 as of now.
This position was offered to me, biology professor recommended me. I work on wetlands doing grunt work really. I also will volunteer at least 4 hrs/week at the hospital as well.

I am a BCA student from IGNOU. Actually my BCA was supposed to be completed by last year(batch 2004 student), but unfortunately I did not make it (got a huge backlog).
Now, I have an year stretched and am trying very hard to complete it as soon as possible. Also I don't have 60% throughout my academics. I got 60 in X and 55 in XII.
I have more than 1 year BPO workex (5 months in tech support + 9 months in customer service, in an International bpo).
1. Now, is there any software company which does not need excellent marks from academics or does not care about academics or hire irrespective of academic performance??

Edinburgh: im only 13 and im in year 9 at high school but i really want to know what you have to do to becom a barrister?
i have always wanted to be a lawyer/barrister and i no its early but i want to know everything you have to do and have to achieve to become one. ie. like what subjects to take in GCSE's and what to achieve in A levels. also if anyone knows any collages or university's that would be helpful..... also what laws to study... I often find myself wondering why some people can be so talented, or create success so easily, while others always have to struggle for their aspirations. Specifically, I refer to academics, though I suspect this argument can be applied to a variety of situations. For example, I did not go to university after high school, and nowadays earn a modest salary in a middle management position in the retail sector.
