Edinburgh: What are your views on lowering the legal drinking age to 18?
In Ontario (Canada), the legal drinking age is 18. I am writing a report and possibly doing a speech and I think this is good topic. Here are my three main points.
> If you're allowed to get married, have children, buy a gun for your personal uses, join the military to fight for your country, buy and sell property, pay taxes, purchase/sell cars and get a proper job at the age of 18, then why aren't you allowed to purchase/consume alcohol?
> If you're a citizen of Ontario and you travel to other places such as Manitoba, Barbados, Italy etc. and you're allowed to drink at the age of 18, then why not in Ontario?
> If most of society views you as responsible and ... 06 Sep 08, 03:09:09

Edinburgh: The boss that I work for allows me 30 hours per week time. I had 6 hours ot. which he took from my sick leave?
Actually, I was given the task of relocating all the informational media and re-set it up (video phones,computers,land line for standard phones etc,). I was also charged with transporting medicines as the job is of a medical nature. I carted boxes and office furniture, in short I was in charge of moving things that hired movers would not move because my boss did not afford fair pay for the work. When I put my over time in I was paid for my regular 30 hour weekly time, the 6 overtime hours my boss took out or charged to my sick leave.......Is this legal ? what agency can I gather information from to find answers ?... 06 Sep 08, 03:09:58

Edinburgh: If I ever ran, what do you all want in a president?
I wont be eligible to run for a few more years, but i would love to run for President of the U.S. I live in Massachusetts, and while officially I'm an independent, I am pro-Democrat and anti-Republican. I would of course try and become a State Senator first, for more experience in D.C. Several things I'd do:
Increase government spending in the research and development of medical science;
Improve foreign relations in the Middle East and China
Approve financial aid for third world countries in South America and Africa;
Send medicine and other necessities to third world countries and others that would need it;
Make health and medical care available for all,... 06 Sep 08, 02:09:21

Edinburgh: Is something wrong with me?
I live in Canada and I'm for capital punishment even though it's not the law anymore. Every time I tell someone this they're like astonished. They say things like but you're so impartial you're not supposed to belief things like this! and but you're so nice!
I'm also against abortion even though that's legal. I also hate hippies but not because of their make love, not war attitude but because of their let's get high everyday, let's not get a job, let's drop out of school attitude. A lot of their approaches aren't effective, they just make cops look bad.
I also like guys who have t... 05 Sep 08, 10:09:00
