Edinburgh: Might apply for grad school abroad, need help?
First of all, let me say your input is very appreciated. Here's my summary:
I'll graduate next year with a BS in accounting. My GPA will probably be somewhere around 3.6, and I'm graduating from a middle of the road type school.
I'm going to start applying to graduate programs for my MBA and I'm thinking of applying to business schools abroad for the sake of the experience.
I'm considering London Business School, Edinburgh University Management School, American University of Cairo, American University of Beirut among my overseas selections. Domestically, I'm considering UM, UC and its satellite schools and even Harvard.
That's what I'm doing in a nutshell, so if you would, please answer a few questions to help me supplement my research.
1. Do these overseas schools measure up or exceed their US counterparts?
2. Are the MBA programs of these schools similar to that of US universities?
3. Is it more expensive or cheaper? If it's more expensive is it worth the extra money?
4. What's your general recommendation?
5. Anything else you think is important that I may have missed.
Thanks in advance, and your input is very appreciated.
Oh by the way, I live in the US and I am a dual citizen of the USA and Lebanon. Wanted to clear that up in case you had suggestions for the American University of Beirut. 01 Jul 09, 07:07:39

Edinburgh: Increasing energy while on very long walk?
Hey everyone,
I'm attending my Duke of Edinburgh test tomorrow, which involves me walking 30km.
Tomorrow is supposed to be one of Britain's hottest days, and the whole trip will not only include walking very long distances while carrying alot of equipment, but also in the heat.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can have the most energy so I dont feel too tired, which I did at certain points in the last walk. (Eating bannanas etc etc)
Much appreciated and all suggestions welcome,
Stanley. 01 Jul 09, 03:07:12
