Dunbartonshire: I need some help picking a grad project idea?
I want to do something along the lines of Grapic Design.. or go with some sort of a Charity thing. I want to do something for TWLOHA but I don't know how I'd go about doing that.
It needs to be something along the lines of what you want to do when you're older.
I want to do work for TWLOHA so any jobs do you have in mind ?
(TWLOHA IS A CHARITY)
or Graphic design I'll just shaddow a student at an art college.
Anyone have any ideas?...

I'm 24 and am finishing my degree in visual art at the end of this year. I'm in an awkward situation, as I've been living at home with the parents, due to it being expensive renting whilst studying. Dunbartonshire: Would graphic design be a good career to get into?
i was thinking of getting into something like graphic design where the program lasts from 1 year to 2 years...and where i can easily get into a professional job.. Does this seem like a good career choice?
The problem is i don't have a lot of time to spare..i need to find a professional career as soon as possible. So a 4 year college is not an option.
Also if possible could some1 suggest accredited graphic design schools in the NJ area

I am a Canadian, I have 40 yrs. of graphic designing experience almost in all field, I would like to find a job in Dubai.
But the problem is, I am 62 yrs. any one can tell me if I will be able to find a job at this age or I will be wasting my time and money by going there and looking for a job, Is the age a real problem in my case?
Can some one tell me what is the best way to look for a job in Dubai

I really need information from those of you who know first hand. I know I want to do something with design and computers, ea; graphic design. But there are so many fields, I'm overwhelmed. I can't afford the Art institute, and I've been waiting tables for 8 years. What degree should I go for, Which have the best job outlook, Makes the best money? AA or BS? I am graduating in seven months- only because, like most University's, only certain classes are offered certain semesters. I am currently a part-time student, taking one course this semester, and two-three courses in the Spring. I am looking for jobs related to my degree/field where I have a potential to move up. I have a few interviews coming up for DTP/Graphic Artist/production assistant jobs (My degree is in Graphic Design).
