OK, heres the deal, i need major advice. Im not picky, im not spoiled. This should be an easy 10 points. I need car advice. Right now i drive a 2003 Hyundai Accent (definetly doesnt help my reputation in highschool lol). Starting in April, im going to start saving every penny from my job, so i can buy a car the day i turn 18. I've figured it out and i will have about $15000 saved. Im 16 years old and im looking for a job so my parents wouldn't keep paying for me. i feel bad when they do because i feel like i owe them. i applied at a lot of places and nothing happens i tried website that could give me a job like Snagajob.com and honestly it sucks they give me jobs for like 21 year olds. Im turning 17 this April. i have no job expirience i have work with my dad on the weekends at finish carpentry but it doesnt really help. Dover: Is UC Berkeley possible for me or am I destined to fail for life?
Hello everyone.
I am a sophomore in highschool and am wondering about my prospects for UC Berkeley. It is REALLY where I want to go and could you tell me what I can do, or if I am a hopeless wreck tell me so lol? Here's my stats so far.
Freshman year- 3.75 gpa (horrible, but took all the honors classes)
Soph year- (taking all hard classes, will prob end up with 3.7 this semester, but I will get at least 3.8 next semester)

(im asking this question on this section cause it's where most of the teens are)
I asked my friend for five bucks, but he was broke. Now this kid's been woorking at walgreens(one of the best paying places for teens) for fie days every week, he doesn't own a car(uses his parents, rarely pays for gas) and is a senior in high school.) every now and then he'll buy a shirt or something at a store and recently he bought himself a blackberry storm....AND some new shoes.
But thats MY problem.... i'm asking what YOU spend ur money on (for teens who have jobs but don't have their own cars and bills to pay)...
