Dover: Live abroad for 6 months - entitled to benefits on return?
Hi
I'm moving from the UK to Europe for 6 months to look for work.
However, when I return, I may need to claim Job Seekers Allowance whilst looking for a job back in the UK, but will I be entitled to it if I've registered as a resident in another country?

Dover: Working abroad in the media Industry, in Australia. Help! ?
I am looking to work abroad, after completing my degree here in the UK and would love to get experience in Australia working in the media industry.

Dover: Open university to finish my language degree.. is it any good?
Hi there
I was studying at a red brick uni (French and Spanish) and during the first part of my 3rd year (the year abroad) I was in a crash and had to come home as needed long treatment for my injuries.
The Year abroad is non resitable, however, my university have said they will review my situation in September and I can possibly resit the year, but to be honest I have already skipped a year and I just want to get this degree boxed off so I can move on to getting a job and doing a masters part time....
I have looked into finishing my degree at the Open University.. and I would only need to do one more year they say, which would begin in Feb, meaning in theory my degree would be fini... 08 Jan 09, 05:01:24

ive always suffered low self esteem from alot of victimisation in my life, im now 31 have ptsd and bpd, ive always been a very sensitive person always let people words and opinions deeply affect me and make me upset and enraged.
for years in my adulthood ive been cold and aloof, as a defense mechanism , tried not to care what people think, do, and say, but i still find it very difficult and i get upset and enraged easily..

I am 26 years old and I got a stable job with good compensation. I have a happy family with one loving husband and a great son. My son is only 2 years old. I and my partner has a good job in our country, but one day one opportunity knocks my door. I was offered an excellent job with good compensation in london. London, i may say its a strange place for me. What should i do?..Should I leave my family and choose to work abroad? and the problem is I don't know my employer very well. Should I trust him?
