Dover: Do I qualify for some kind of hospital desk job?
I'm in my fourth year of college and I have many classes under my belt, but I don't know how to go about qualifying for a half decent paying desk job at a hospital. I would love to qualify for a unit clerk. I have taken up to English comp. 2, Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2, Safety & First Aid, Exercise Physiology, Basic Nutrition, Human Development Psych, Speech, and other classes that aren't related to this field. I also know my way around a computer pretty well, but I don't know how to go about setting up a resume with my classes and if I am out of my league for a desk job at a hospital. I need help please, I'm going to school for nur... 08 Jan 09, 11:01:47
Dover: Will Israel be denied another chance to finish the job it set out to do in Gaza?
So far the IDF is having the upperhand, but unmistakably another development is emerging in which a European leader suddenly appoints himself as peacemaker and suggests Israel not only agree to
a ceasefire but also give up all the gains it fought so hard for by withdrawing to its position before the hostilities broke out. Mindful of the way the battles are going, he intervines at the critical moment to save you know who? Remember who got Israel to stop hitting Hezbolah during the 2006 Lebanon war? A neat way to help a friend right? Unless the western powers decide once and for all to allow this war or any future war between Israel and Hamas or Hezbolah to run its natural course, this war wi... 08 Jan 09, 03:01:47
Dover: How to leave a job and not to be a loser?
I am in a job where I am trying to convince the boss that the job I am involved in needs more attention to be performed correctly. Namely, it is web development area, where the web design is of less importance than the web architecture (multiple websites).
.
I have one colleague who am I training but he is far from having the idea what is important and has to be done. I am wondering about leaving.
.
Now, if I decide to leave, this guy will probably do what the boss wants = shitty job with very short lifetime (however the boss does not thinks so as he does not understand it).
.
Now, if I leave, my trainee will be a star because he would do what the boss asks him to do. This will last un... 08 Jan 09, 06:01:12

Dover: When the time of appraisal how should i answer for this question?

Dover: Career Confusion: PLEASE HELP!! (Continue with computers or switch to climatology?)?
I am 27 years old, and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I am in a state of extreme desperation and need some help.

Specifically, I am trying to choose between Paths A1, A2, or B. (A1 and A2 are similar areas of the same field, computers. B is a completely dif... 08 Jan 09, 02:01:38

Dover: Is it about time that we end renewable energy subsidies?
We taxpayers have dumped $Billions into wind, solar...etc. and have gotten no return. Shouldn't we allow the Free Market determine what forms of energy we use?
From the Wall Street Journal:
Congress seems ready to spend billions on a new Manhattan Project for green energy, or at least the political class really, really likes talking about one. But maybe we should look at what our energy subsidy dollars are buying now.
Some clarity comes from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), an independent federal agency that tried to quantify government spending on energy production in 2007. The agency reports that the total taxpayer bill was $16.6 billion in... 07 Jan 09, 06:01:46
