Dorchester: How am I being a pedophile?
I'm 25 years old, and started my first year of college after finally wearisome of working menial jobs. Yes, I fully realize I am long past due, and that most individuals my age now hold a master's degree, but anyway...
I became acquainted with an 18 year old girl in one of my classes. We studied together quite often, and soon thereafter began dating.
Her father, however, is virulently opposed to us seeing each other because I am 7 years older than her. He has called the police on me when I called the house. For some incredibly bizarre reason, he was under the presumption that a person still living in the household would still somehow fit the guidelines of a minor...even if ov... 05 Dec 08, 02:12:12

Dorchester: Do You Think I Qualify For Disability (Anxiety/Depression)?
A little history: Anxiety/Depression runs in my family. I started out with it in my teens and it seems to have got worse the last four or five years (I'm 41).
I recently left a dead end job and went to a trade school and did well but I find myself paralyzed with anxiety, fear, and what-if thinking about getting a job and once again it's spawned major depression.
In other words, I haven't worked in about two years and have been out of school since July now. I tried to take one job but quit after the first day due to this condition.
Although I've suffered from this all my life, only in say the last four or five years have I sought help because it got so bad. I'... 04 Dec 08, 07:12:38

Dorchester: I can't stop fighting with my parents?
I've just finished Year 12 and am waiting for my school results and enrolment info from University. I can't stop fighting with my Dad and step mother. I've always had a temper and a tendency to cause arguments over the slightest things, but now that I've finished school I'm fighting with them 24/7. I'm not a troubled teen - I have plenty of friends, a part time job, a career in mind - but I just get so frustrated and miserable at home. I don't like where we live (Its 40 km outside of the city, without any buses to and from) and I'm almost constantly miserable.
My parents think I need an attitude adjustment, and I want to change my ways too - but how... 04 Dec 08, 01:12:54

Whats the point of leaving sex ed to parents when one look around this site shows they dont do their job?
If you dont do your job at work you get fired, or sued for negligence if somone gets hurt.
Now in europe especailly the Netherlands with a low teen pregancy and std rate they have their act together.. they start around 5 and do it weekly till 18 so by the time they reach an age where many uk and US kids start the Dutch kids have had 100s of hours of lessons.
Here the parents work with the schools and no or very little pulling kids out of lessons so they are kept thickos
