Dorchester: Do i need qualifications to be a care assistant?
I've applied for a job as a care assistant which was done all over the phone and i have an interview in a couple of weeks. But I'm worried I'll look a little stupid because I haven't got any experience in that area or any qualifications that relate. I don't have a levels related to this job but i do have a GCSE in child development and I worked in a school for 2 weeks for yr 10 work experience.
Will this do? Has anyone else got a job as a care assistant who also don't have any qualifications?

I work in an HR department were there is my manager and another co-worker who is above me. I have been there for 8 months with no problems. I was sitting in a meeting with a committee both my boss and I are on. We had all volunteered to be on it and taken on roles. I frequently do my bosses roles, because she asked me to. This is not a problem for me, but people know that I do it and it makes me do disproportionately more work in the group.
