Dorchester: Do we belong together?
I came out at 22, while he’s known since 12; the differences in our stage of development have been hard for him- like having to go through me coming out to my parents, co-workers and even some friends who don’t know, while also not being totally comfortable with public displays of affection (like at the straight bar). Along with that, Thomas has sewn his wild oats and even been married to a woman and had kids, so he’s ready to settle down; however, Thomas was my first boyfriend and I was totally not ready for “forever” when I met him. Part of me wonders what it would be like to have other experiences- and while I never cheated, I was unfaithful in my heart by having feelings fo...

Dorchester: My boss is angry because she thinks I talked about her behind her back? please read carefully.?
I recently explained all the details of this in another question. But I will try and make it more clear. I work in an HR department were there is my manager and another co-worker who is above me. I have been there for 8 months with no problems. I was sitting in a meeting with a committee both my boss and I are on. We had all volunteered to be on it and taken on roles. I frequently do my bosses roles, because she asked me to. This is not a problem for me, but people know that I do it and it makes me do disproportionately more work in the group. Well at the meeting someone asked (I will call her Sally) why I do all the work and who's else s I do, they all stared at me and insisted ...

Dorchester: My chances for UCSC... What Do u Think?
I'm trying to get into UCSC. I have a 3.66 gpa, a 1710 sat, and with my essay, do you think i have a good chance? thanks! The last twelve years of my life would be impossible to quantify in a stat sheet and a thousand words or less. It is best described as a concoction of stories and experiences that resemble the characteristics inherent to any great novel. All the fundamentals of classic literature are there: excitement, curiosity, gain, loss, accomplishment, misfortune, victory and defeat. The roots of my development are embedded in my bloodlines, as well as my environment. I am the youngest of four brothers, raised in a setting where my parents encouraged personal individualism. M...
