Is anyone an attorney? Or do you know about law school and attorneys?
What do you have to say about law school? How was it? Were the things you learned helpful once you graduated?
What about jobs? Was it hard finding a job after graduation? What type of attorneys are in great demand or will be in the next 10 years?
Do you enjoy your career? Is it fulfilling? What about the salary?
Any advice?
I ask because I want to become an attorney but I'm not sure what kind. I had an internship at the PDs office in high school and one attorney said law school was a waste, everything you needed to know you learned once you were out there in the courtroom.

Derby: Should I not tell them I have a Bachelor's degree?
I graduated last year with a BA in English Literature and am still trying to find a full time job. Jobs that require less than a Bachelor's degree don't want to hire someone who has one because they think you'll leave when you find something better. Those who do require the degree want years of experience along with it.

It's important to note that for the first 15 years of my life, I was drug-free. I smoked a little herb, and then did not smoke again for 6 years. I smoked for 3 years, and then joined the military. When I finished my enlistment, I smoked regularly for about 2 more years. Since that time I have been clean. Mostly out of fear of losing my job. Hey. My parents were divorced when I was very young. My mom and dad both remarried.
But, I live with my mom and step-dad, but I want to live with my dad and step-mom. Is there any way I could get the law on my side or are there any sort of laws that will allow me to live with my dad?
And, my dad and step-mom are not criminals and have a clean criminal record, aren't abusive in any way, shape, or form, and they have good well-paying jobs as well as a livable suitable home.
My dad is a fireman and works at a glass company, and my step-mom works in cosmetology at a salon. They just purchased a good livable suitable home as well, and it is in a good school district.

I feel like my mom ruins so many things because she is so judgemental. We found out we are pregnant with our second (and yes, we are married and my husband makes about $40,000 a year...).

Derby: The law of libel. When is it practical to sue in the UK?
I have had a very strange situation at work. Until last week, I was regarded as very good at my job. Then some consultants came in for a week to write a report. In this report I am labelled as incompetent and inefficient, and as a result my job is very much on the line. I think mky role will be made redundant next week.
