Derby: What programs for mentally retarded citizens are in or near Columbus GA?
My 29 year old mentally retarded sister is now living in a group home in Upstate NY. There is a very great program up there called the ARC where she works, and they help them find jobs and also have programs to occupy and train them. She is VERY unhappy up there and she has told me she would like to move in with me and my husband here in Columbus, GA. I told her that it would be fine as long as I could find another program for her to be in like the ARC to keep her busy. Do you know or have you heard of any programs like these in this area? I have searched but I'm not what to search for. Thanks!...

Derby: how do I find a way to bond with my brother?
ive never bonded with my older brother, because he's a lot older than me (im 13 and hes 16). i dont know how to hang out with him. i always fear asking him, because i always think hed be embarased to be caught hanging with his little brother.

Derby: What do I do when I'm to scared to ask some one out?
I'm a junior in high school, and there's a girl (a senior) who I'd really like to ask out. But for one thing I'm way to scared. And between school, my school theater, and my job I don't think I'd really be able to give her the attention she deserves. And since she'll be off to college in a few months and I'm wondering if it's worth it. I think I'm over thinking this.

Derby: Tell me about law school?
Is anyone an attorney? Or do you know about law school and attorneys?
What do you have to say about law school? How was it? Were the things you learned helpful once you graduated?
What about jobs? Was it hard finding a job after graduation? What type of attorneys are in great demand or will be in the next 10 years?
Do you enjoy your career? Is it fulfilling? What about the salary?
Any advice?
I ask because I want to become an attorney but I'm not sure what kind. I had an internship at the PDs office in high school and one attorney said law school was a waste, everything you needed to know you learned once you were out there in the courtroom.

Derby: When applying for a job, which race should I say I am?
I am always job searching and I am in the middle of an application right now. After I finished the application, there was an optional equal opportunity employment application.
I am just about everything, race-wise. There is a section where I can say I am hispanic, which I am. But if I check that box, I cannot say I am anything else, which is bogus. There is a box that says two or more races, which I am, but that's only if your not Hispanic at all.
So, my question to you is, which race are they hiring more of? Since I am a little bit of everything, I have no problem saying I am one thing over the other....

Derby: Is my Husband-To-Be actually cheating?
Okay so my husband-to-be has been actually acting very strange lately. He's been giving me excuses about his business banking and his mom's health . Well I have been to his job and seen he is really doing something but again, I visited his mother and I see she's fairly healthy. Do you think he's cheating or something?
