Darlington: Politics and Parties?
Im confused as to what political party i would be associated with.
Im 16 btw lol.
Okay, so i honestly only want to help the people that really need it and not the ones who dont take the opportunity to work; when jobs are flourishing that is.
I also want to know how my money would be spent. I know it will be going to people in need, but I want transparency. Will they go to new shoes that person doesnt need, or a meal for their family, or even rent?
I dont want to pay for peoples abortions who are constantly getting them because they are sleeping around. Wouldn't they have learned by now that unprotected sex is leading to a living organism. Doesn't that organism have the ... 09 Jan 09, 07:01:14
Darlington: What benefits can I get from my new friends?
I met one girl after going 5 years without any friends who was willing to accept me with all my irrational, noncomforming, unique behaviors and thought patterns... but she used me, manipulated me, exploited me and was not beneficial to me in any way. My father gave her a ride home 50 times while her parents never gave me a ride home even once and one time I couldn't give her a ride home, because I had to prepare for my job interview. She was angry.... and ripped up the questions that I wrote in preparation for my job interview the next day and refused to help me, with advice, with friends, with lovers, with job interviews, with working out... she refused to do a single thing or say a si... 09 Jan 09, 06:01:02
Darlington: Repossesion of a vehicle?
My friend has been hiding his car out for the past year, because he has no other mode of trasportation, and he works outside of any bus route. His job promoted him to a new position. Truck driver for the company. So he's going to school to learn how to drive a big rig, and he just passed his written exam for his permit for the class A licsence in Ca. Now, when he gives all of his information pertaining to where he resides, does the company who owns the car, have access to all those records, and will they indefinately come and get the car ? How long do you think it will take ? I'm just worried for him, because he's just getting on his feet in this twisted economy. And he... 09 Jan 09, 06:01:16
Darlington: How can my new friends benefit me? ?
As an act of rebelliong against my parents, I forget everything that they taught me.. for the first 19 years of my life, all they taught me was how to conform to social norms, how to fit in, how to make peopel like me, how to say what people wanted to hear... When I entired university at the age of 18, I had the emotional maturity of a 9 year old child... because I had gone 18 years without being myself and always pretending to be something that I'm not to impress people. Then I decided I wouldn't conform to social norms at all and afterwards, everybody hated me... because I didn't say or think or act how they watned me to be... I met one girl after going 5 years without any f... 09 Jan 09, 06:01:51
Darlington: Acronis disk imaging software? ?
I am starting up a small business and I have a degree in computer programming. Well, I was hired as an IT professional (have just enough sense to learn -- know nothing about servers or anything like that ... job market is down right now).
Well, anyways, I need to get a disk imaging software for the computers we are getting in. I don't want to have to individually set up all of them. Now, we are looking at using Acronis, but know much about it.
Here are the things we are researching.
1 - Can we only buy one license (as they are $300 - $400 a piece and don't want to buy 10!) or do we have to buy one for every machine? Do they have a certain number of times you can use the s... 09 Jan 09, 05:01:36
Darlington: how can I help a bright person either finally close a deal or get a steady job so he can support his family?
my brother is early 40s, married with a toddler. He is very smart, has had many great business ideas and initiated many (at least 7) deals, but he has not closed one. He has been living off his skills and help from family. He has not had a steady job and cannot support his family on his own.
Through his business deals he has tried VERY hard to create a job for himself with enough income to live on; however every time he has come close to closing a deal, one of the people involved have taken advantage of him and/or stolen the opportunity or investors from him (including a close family member).
How can he learn not to be taken advantage of and how to close a deal? My heart breaks fo... 09 Jan 09, 05:01:57
Darlington: Do you think my marriage? Is my husband for-real?
I wanted to get some advice. I have been married since 2001. My husband has never been taught how to take care of himself, much less a family. His mother has done everything for him, and continues to this day.
We just had our first baby. I was bed ridden for 7 months of my pregnancy, causing me to shut down my business. The economy had a lot to do with it, as well. We had to become a 1 income family, although I did sell a lot of stuff on eBay to help with the 50% of the finances. My husband has a job that he can always pick up extra hours and make excellent pay. The finances were getting steep because, my husband would not pick up a few extra hours to help us over come the temporary financi... 09 Jan 09, 04:01:49
