Darlington: Where and what kind of job would be better? Suggestions?
I have worked in food service for a long time. In fact all the jobs that I have ever had have been in food service. For the last 7 years I have been a food service manager in our public schools. The thing is I am so over it. I had gone to college back in the day but could never figure out what i wanted to be when I grew up, so I took all my required classes and that was the extent of that. When I started where I am now I was in my earlier 20's. Maybe I've grown up over the years but I just cannot do this for another year. My employees, although all great in their own ways, drive me up a wall. They act as if they don't understand their jobs anymore. I love the kids but even with ...

Ive always had to help my father and mother for the last half my life, with alot of basic things. I never got in trouble in high school or out in public, you could say i'm a good citizen. Darlington: seeking new job ideas?
A friend of mine is seeking a new job. Until recently, he was a middle school music teacher (public school). For personal reasons, he decided to resign his position, and is now looking for new employment. [before anyone jumps to any conclusions, there is nothing fishy about his resignation...he is leaving by his own choice, and is on good terms with the school district] He has a bachelor's and a master's degree, both in music. Very smart, talented, and organized. Ideally, he's looking for a desk job in a quiet environment (library, for example). Does anyone have any ideas of jobs he might consider? He has been looking at secretarial/clerical jobs,...
