Under union contract my employer is required to pay me on a scale that pertains to my job classification. My employer admits to underpaying by $2.10 for over that past year. This was discovered over two months ago. I still have not seen the correct hourly rate reflected in my pay nor have I seen any retro pay. ok i have a dell credit card and my mother in law wanted to get a computer in my name and pay for it her self there was no contract only a verbal agreement and the only reliable witnesses i have to testify to this is my husband her son and my mother. she (my mother in law ) told my mother about the agreement but because it's my mother and husband then i'm not sure if i can use them. any way it's been so long that she hasn't made the payments that it's on my credit and i now want the computer back because i know she is not going to pay i want to know if i have a case and how do i go about starting it?...

A door to door salesman came to my home, I ended paying him $300 for a product in the form of a check and he gave me the website to the company that he was contracted with before leaving. I'm completely dissatisfied with the product and stopped payment on the check. I looked on the company's website for any contact information they may have to let them know of the stop payment and also that I'd like to return the product, but an email was the only contact they give. And although I know the name of the salesman, its a generic John Smith type name so finding him would be hard in a large city. I have emailed the company to inform them of the actions I've take...

Darlington: Can a minor who has signed a military contract cancel such contract ?
My girlfriend is 17 years old and she wanted to go to college. well her parents don't have the money to send her to college and THEY decided that the military was her best option. So she signed the contract (actually her parents kind of forced her) with the idea that she could cancel the contract if she wanted to, as her recruiting officer told her. I plan to do my general education for an Associates degree in in the army for my four year contract. i'll be be 22 by that time and hopefully a sergent by the time i exit. leave army for two years to get bachelors degree at a UC school. after i get that education wise i'll be set and my degree wont be in basket weaving don't worry. however the meps security clearance team knows that i have smoked marijuana yet still set my clearance at secret which i wasn't expecting. that is the only issue i see. so anyone can I still be an officer with this plan?...
