Darlington: I'm hoping to go towards the medical route, I just don't know if its right for me?
I'm a freshman at a local community college, have been here for 1 semester so far, taking just general ed courses. Next semester i registered for General Biology I. I hope to venture off into the medical field route. Does anyone know what courses i should be taking? Do i do 2 years of gen ed at this community college than transfer to a 4 year than med school? Going the medical route do colleges look back into your high school grades? Do colleges look for passing grades or high gpa's?...

Darlington: Question about registering for selective service, please help?
My high school has this program called the A+ program, we sign up and stuff during our high school year and have the benefit of the state paying for 2 years of any state college or community college.
one of the requirement to join is for all male to register for selective service, it was all clear until that part that confused me a bit....

Im really interested in this organization.this spring i will be a transfer student. but during this process i have reached out to and have been befriended by a current member of this chapter but i don't know how to approach her with my interest in the chapter. since i have gotten to know her i have attended all the DST event i was able to go to and i am getting acquainted with the ladies of the chapter - past and present. Darlington: Something I can do over the summer overseas as a teen, such as a camp or community service program?
I live in the US and will be 18 in teh summer and was wondering if there are any programs in Europe in which i can attend. such as a camp america type program where it does not cost me anything (if i get paid that would be even better)
it doesn't have to be a camp, it could be a community service organization or anything, just preferably not religious.

i just got a livejournal and i switched it to S2 and now when i go to a community it shows

Darlington: Hectic last minute college question: Can I get in?!?
Alright, I'm a senior applying to colleges and I'm just stressing the hell out. here are my stats:
GPA: 94.6 out of 100, unweighted. (So like a 3.9 or a 4.0?)
Race: African American
Intended Major: International Relations
Activities: Did 9 drama shows since 9th grade, getting ready for my tenth. I never really got lead roles, though.
Also active in French Club (Treasurer) National Honor Society (Junior rep last year), School Newspaper (sci-tech editor this year, entertainment in 10th grade), And Literary magazine (associate editor last year) I'm doing Jazz band this year, and trying to start a GSA.
I also sing and play guitar, but I dont have much to show for it.
