Today was my last day. People in my department had a cake for me and 3 cards signed by almost the whole company. A couple of minutes before 5 he came over as I was saying goodbye to the others. Everyone gave me a hug and I was trying not to get emotional. He gave me a hug too, wished me luck and said stay in touch , then left.

Got invited to a Navy ball. Never been to one. It's on the 16th. I originally thought that it was like a normal Navy ball where it's really formal like prom, but I found out it's only semi-formal and that I only need a cocktail dress. But there's a huge range of different cocktail style dresses from really dressy to smi-casual, etc. What kind of dress should I get? Do you have any recommendations? Links or pics would be amazing!! Well, we recently won a local lottery, and my parents, being strict, gave me $1000 to spend. Now, I don't want to go and spend all that in one shot--that would make me look bad in front of my parents. Anyways, I only want to spend the money on ONE system, and I need the Y!A community to help me out:
1) I am not a casual gamer, but not hardcore either. I guess I'm kinda in the middle.
2) Graphics do not matter too much for me, as long as they're not Atari 2600, and better than my PS2's.
3) I *might* be willing to pay for online. I don't need the video chat, in-game text or anything, but it could be a plus.
