Coventry: Ways for a male to look older and more mature.?
I am 23 years old but I'm lucky if someone thinks I look 17. This normally is no big deal and I've heard a million times how I will appreciate it someday, however, I am in the process of looking for my first real job after college. I haven't had a problem getting interviews and I feel I come off as confident, but I believe people have a hard time taking me seriously because of how young I look. If I were an interviewer hiring a kid for a sales or professional position within an office I would have a hard time hiring someone who looked like me. I really believe my youthful appearance and demeanor is holding me back. I dress professionally with a suit and everything when I ... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:52
Coventry: Proper etiquette for getting reimbursed interview expenses when a decision has not been made?
I went for an interview the Monday before Thanksgiving. It was several states away and I made the arrangements using my own funds.
When I was there I mentioned my expenses and about getting reimbursed. The guy I interviewed with said he would send me a form to fill out and mail back with receipts.
I haven't heard anything and I even asked the recruiter to help me get the form and he said he would work on it. It has been a couple of days more now.
I have a feeling I didn't get the job because the recruiter has been short in his responses, but I am not sure because I haven't been told otherwise.
I need to get my money reimbursed, especially with the holidays coming up. Do I ... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:55

Coventry: Job offer at JC Penney's, questions please help!?
I have an interview with JC Penney's tomorrow and am looking forward to it. I applied to be a stocker in California. What is the typical pay hourly for that? How does the training go and the interview? I hope I get the job, I really need the money. I know to dress nice and what not, I just have always gotten a job without an interview and whatnot, through people I know. So this is a first for me. Any advice would be wonderful, especially from JC Penney employee's and previous employees. Thanks!... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:36
Coventry: How do I tell my parents I disagree with their church with out crushing them?
I'm not going to say the name because I don't want to argue about my church, I just need advice.
Oh and I'm not saying this church or any church is bad. I respect if your religious. There are definitely positive that comes out of religion sometimes.
My family is very religious. They always go to church (unless my mom has to work), and it's been a huge part of my life growing up...but I just don't believe in a lot of the things they teach. I struggle with a lot for the doctrine and I don't like most of the social pressures.
I haven't gone to church (the full meeting) in over a year and my parents are really disappointed in me. If that was all, I could dea... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:12
