Colchester: How did Maverick Money Makers change my life?
May I speak to you in private...? I just can’t hold this huge secret anymore…What you are about to read will blow your mind…Trust me…. Thank you. First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Philippe and I work as a civil engineer in China, but I will probably move to Australia very soon for another job. Income in the construction field is pretty good and I believe I am leading a very comfortable and exciting life since I have started working in this industry. However, as you might also be, I do have a curious personality. I like to explore and try new things…For example, I have started my own trading and consulting company in order to help foreign company to set ...

Colchester: Should I ask her to move in?
A girl, whom I've known for over five years, is having fairly serious problems. Financial, relationship, and housing problems. Seeing as she broke up with her (ex)fiance, I don't see it becoming a problem. But then it hit me. Out of the entire time we've known each other, despite trusting each other with one another's very life, we've only met in person once before. All other past conversations over the years have been via email, instant messaging, or over the phone. She's a wonderful woman, and I'm a fairly tolerable man. She's in dire need of help, and has no family or friends, beyond myself. I can cover all financial problems at the moment,...

Colchester: Psychic question - when will I get a job?
Here is my situation: I've been unemployed for about a month and a half now. I'm starting to get depressed. I'm wondering when I will be able to FINALLY find myself a steady job? If it's another month or more, am I at least going to work part time or something? Also, my boyfriend and I have been wanting to move in together (part of the reason why I'm also sad since we just want to be together - we're still both living at our parents house and we're both getting very frustrated as we both don't get along as well with our own families). If you need info (like name) please email me. Any insight would be appreciated. I actually NEED one. And ...

Colchester: Do all bosses act like that with employers?
I was hired to a job like two days ago. there are mostly males working. it is a job related with computers and technology. the manager is so weird, i think. when i had the interview, he said that i will check whether the printers have paper, answer the phones and email. when i started the training, they actually make me to program the computers, and make computer( put the parts together). I feel so dumb because i dont know how to do that. and today, he was talking to the guy that teaches me how to do that. we were standing like one foot away from each other. and the manager is like tell her to check the voice mail. come on? i was there like a foot away listening and he couldnt tell me that? ...

Colchester: Ladies, what do you look for when checking online dating profiles?
I've been divorced for a little over a year and a half and have been toying with the idea of subscribing to Yahoo Personals. Created a free profile, uploaded some photos, etc., but haven't made it searchable yet as 1) I'm really not sure this is something I want to do, and B) I'd really like some feedback from folks who don't know me first. So, while I'm making up my mind about whether I really want to do this, tell me what kind of things you look for, what are the immediate turn-offs, how important is job title or income level, how much history is necessary, etc. (If you'd like to see what I've written send me an email and I'll ...

Colchester: Was he flirting and just trying to be nice?
This guy who i have never met but we know a lot of mutual people and have heard a lot about each other sent me an email saying hello. Now he just started working at my job and that the email was him saying hello and that he wanted to meet me and that i should swing by to meet him. Then we got on our work instant messenger and talked the whole night. I told him to look me up on myspace and he did the next day. After he found me on myspace I left him a comment and he sent me an instant message and we talked a few. Later that night he was on and I wrote him but it was a very small basic conversation.. so whatever i was like he seems nice and sent him a message to see if he wants to hang out in ...

Colchester: Do I have shot at being permanent replacement?
My boss just gave her two weeks notice today, and her boss came and asked if I would be willing to supervise her staff for a stipend. I said it was something I would consider. She then said she would be looking for a replacement because she wanted someone with more experience, and sent out an email to all the staff saying that they would be looking to fill the position after the holidays. So I guess that means I am out of the running for permanent replacement? Or should I apply when they post job. Maybe if I really prove myself as the temp I will be the new permanent, but maybe I should just keep the status quo and not worry about it. What do you think?...

Colchester: What do I do? I need help?
With zero notice, my common-law husband left me on the weekend. One day we were making plans to go on holiday in a few weeks (we even bought our flights) and the very next day he said he was leaving and less than an hour later he was gone to the airport. I'm a complete wreck. He was depressed and he had to leave this city (we moved here a year ago). He said he had to move on but he won't say anything other than that. I emailed him once but otherwise haven't heard from him. What should I do? Should I give him space? Should I email him and tell him how he hurt me? I know we both had things to work on but we had a great relationship - he just didn't know how to share h...
