Chester: Foreigners making a living in Japan?
1. What is a good job to get if you're a foreigner living in Japan? I mean, like if you're an overseas student or something. A job that will allow you to sustain yourself and be able to reside in Japan.
2. Where are good, affordable areas around Tokyo to live? Ones that don't mind foreign residents. I know that a lot of places don't like it when foreigners have room mates. Listing places that don't mind this will be of great help.
3. After getting over the culture shock and home sickness of being in a new and mysterious land, how long do you think it would take to actually get used to life in Japan?

Chester: Does anyone have any ideas for a career involving...?
Right now Im a student (4th year of college). Im a gogo dancer (non nude) (500-1000 dollars a night). My goal is to graduate college with a degree that leads to a career that allows me to make at least as much money as I do now. I love dancing and performing but unfotunately, its not a long term career. I love making money. I love shopping and what I like about my current job is 1. the fact that how much money I make depends on how well I do my job (its innovative), not an hourly wage. 2. its challenging and you get alot of recognition for being good at what you do. 3. I get to socialize with people and figure out what they like. 4. its glamorous...I LOVE experimenting with hair, makeup and ... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:59
Chester: can i get out of my apartment lease without a lot of trouble?
I am a college student who just lost a $4,000 scholarship given to me from a local business that just went out of business/bankrupt. My roommate and I each signed a lease for our apartment which lasts from August till July. I have $1,000 in the bank and rent is $625 a month for us. My roommate's mothers pays his rent however I am responsible for mine. I have a job but I do not make enough to make rent for next semester (i'm gonna need a good $4,000+) for it and am trying to get out of my lease. I understand that usually there is a fee invovled with this and if it is lower than what I would have to pay for living there I am going to try and do it. My question however is what happens... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:33

Chester: help with punctuation?
To start, the economy is playing a big role on what type of jobs individuals are interested in. although private investigators might not make as much as other fields would offer, private investigators are normally retired police officers or people just coming out of college. So a retired police officer really isn’t looking for a huge pay load because they most likely have their pension, and students coming out of college are just looking for somewhere to start. According to salary.com, private investigators average between $25,000 and $56,000 a year. Earnings of private investigators vary greatly depending on their employer, specialty and the geographic area in which they work” (... 02 Dec 08, 05:12:37
Chester: How should I control m anger/temper that I feel?
I know this is supposed to be the happiest season, but this is the most I've felt so down. For one thing, my dad got layed of from his job 3 months ago, and my mom found out that she'll get layed off from work too. And it makes me sad to see my parents soo stressed out. And when I go to school, (by the way my school has a lot of kids from high upper class families) I hear my friends with all their stupid problems and stress about boys and not being able to go to concerts etc. I just want to tell them what I'm going through, but my parents don't want me telling anyone what we're going through (cause they have high pride) Plus my b-day is coming soon, and not once in t... 02 Dec 08, 05:12:04
