Chester: Can anyone help me? (uk only)?
I'm an applicant for the police force, so for a couple of months i'm out of work due to 'getting ready' for the job. If anyone could suggest a real work-at-home scheme I would be grateful. I obviously have an internet connection and a phone line. Please do not reply with pyramid schemes or even get rich quick schemes. Just something to keep me busy and earn a little money. Thank you in advance!...

Chester: Is it wise to go back to college full time after my wedding?
I have been working fulltime since I completed highschool and my mother could afford to take me to college. I started studying part time this year and Its tough. I think I'm wasting time by hanging on to the job that I have instead of focusing fulltime on my studies. My fiance has suggested I go back to college full time so that I can get my degree and get better opportunities. He has also offered to pay for tuition. He is not very well off but he is a hard worker to I believe him when he says he can do it. My question is is it wise to go back to college full time? I know that the first year of marriage is supposed to be tough financially. its also going to be hard not to have money of...

Chester: What do you think of my writing?
I am pursuing a creative writing/ gonzo journalism career, here is a passage I wrote about hockey. Cold metal meets cold ice. That first stride takes you deep into the freshly cleaned surface. The run is so smooth and you whip around the rink carefree. Just for now. For as soon as the whistle pierces your tranquility, all attention is diverted to the team. “Oneself” no longer has a meaning. Each has a job but the team works as a unit. That one slow fucker gets in your way and, oh look, he has the puck. Make him shit his pants, firing up to him, shoulders ready to plow through to next week. Bam. Now he has your number, but you have the puck. Out of the ten skaters, some 40 players, ma...

Chester: punctuation help please?
Secondly, being involved in the criminal justice field is a risk itself. Being a private investigator is even more of a dangerous job then an ordinary police officer. A private investigator job is to investigate on individuals they believe are or have committed a crime; therefor, this might involve following suspects around and watching them closely with at times no protection or a gun. Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center online site says “Private Investigators generally do not use firearms on the job they may carry a gun if an assignment warrants the need for one”. According to Bureau of Labor Statistics Website they state work can be very dangerous because of the awkward hours during...

Chester: What is a good career for a shy girl like me?
I don't know what to do with my life. I am really shy, and would probably not fare so well in a career that involves meeting lots of people on a daily basis (shaking hands, making good business contacts, etc.). I want a prestigious job (since I'm very ambitious and people in my family are like that too, with high expectations). Right now I'm on route to getting a BA (in what I'm not sure yet) but I know a BA is pretty useless. What kind of careers do you think would be good for me? I don't want a recluse career either (i.e. being a librarian.... eew!) Things I am good at: writing (but I don't want to major in English or anything, I hate all that literary stuff...
