Chester: Some questions about moving out of home...?
I'm 15 & need to move out of home.
Can I rent a flat or do I have to get someone over 18 to put it under their name for me? If so, does it have to be a parent or could it be a friend's parent?
I will have a part time job and be a full time student in year 10. How much youth allowance will I receive? And will I recieve an rent assistance or anything?
I live in Australia by the way, in the ACT. And at my part time job I get payed $10 an hour, if this is any help. Thankyou! =)... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:29
Chester: There a dumb racist at my new job, do I tell how offense she is?
There is a woman originally from Nebraska who is all nice and drops these racist bombs like breathing. I have only worked with her a a day and a half. We had to travel for our job in the same car and I tried to make the best of it. Never in my life have I heard someone calmly say Chinese fire drill when changing drivers in the car. I tried to talk about a neutral subject like getting nails done. She went into still looking for someone good, and then she was recently cut, and the manicurist cut herself too.., Well she's Oriental, and you never know..,Well not cause she's Oriental, but anyone could have anything, and you have to be careful with cuts. And we pas... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:59
Chester: I wanna know how to start a home daycare?
I am going to be laid off from my job sometime in the beginning of 2009. Instead of going out to find another job, I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to find something that will allow me to stay home with my 2 boys. Does anyone here run a home daycare? What are the requirements to start one? Do you have any suggestions or tips that will help me get started quickly (I only have about 2 months to get up and running). Thanks... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:56
Chester: Foreigners making a living in Japan?
1. What is a good job to get if you're a foreigner living in Japan? I mean, like if you're an overseas student or something. A job that will allow you to sustain yourself and be able to reside in Japan.
2. Where are good, affordable areas around Tokyo to live? Ones that don't mind foreign residents. I know that a lot of places don't like it when foreigners have room mates. Listing places that don't mind this will be of great help.
3. After getting over the culture shock and home sickness of being in a new and mysterious land, how long do you think it would take to actually get used to life in Japan?
Answering in detail and links to useful sites is well appreciat... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:48
Chester: What do I do after ive been kicked out of high school?
Ok, ssooo I got kicked out of high school. I have just gotten my g.e.d. and I start college in 3 months. In my town, EVERY store/restaurant only hires 18 years olds and up so I can't get a job to cure my boredom or make money to do things to cure my boredom. I am 17. I live with my mom who is never home, and both of my friends just moved away. I have no girlfriend and I do have a car. What can I do to cure my boredom? I obviously have the internet, but I am getting bored of it. I play the guitar and I am constantly learning new songs but I am looking for something new to get into. I am hoping someone on here can point me into a new direction, give me a few tips to cure boredom, you know... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:22
Chester: Medical Claims & Billing Specialists?
I was thinking about doing this while I'm going to school to make some extra money...all I know so far is that you can work from home, but what exactly is this job??
I've heard that the training can be done within 4 months or up to 18 months, is the training hard?
Would it be possible for me to do this as a single mom going to school full time, or is it really time-consuming? (I get pretty good grades-- A's & B's, and I've got a really good baby :) )
Any other information would be great too!... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:46
Chester: What are some legitimate work-at-home jobs?
I'm not talking about filling out surveys or things of that nature. Or scams like envelope stuffing. Are there any real jobs that can be done out of the house?... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:10
Chester: Why do I feel so miserable and moody these days?
I'm sixteen and I'm guessing I'm going through adolescence or something.
I hate my parents, my mum is always nosing in my business, and I have a short-fuse temper and I end up yelling at her and crying because I get so angry. My dad is an arse honestly. I get 93% as an overall grade and he gets mad and says that's not a good enough grade and that I will never get into a good school and get a good job.
And he never encourages me.
My mum is ALWAYS suspicious of me being a lazy arse and doing bad stuff, but honestly I am such a good girl compared to my sister. She never doubted my sister, not once, even when she came home drunk several times.
I feel like my boyfriend is ... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:57
Chester: Why does he sound distant though he showed interest?
well, to cut a long story short, i got to know this guy in my class only on the last 2 weeks of school though we've been classmates for 3 months.
and well the second time we had a conversation, he chatted to me for 2 hours though he initially wanted to go home. and we discovered we had alot in common, soccer, our beliefs, sense of humour etc. and he told me alot of interesting stuff about himself and stories about his job and his thoughts etc.
then afterward, when we were leaving, he was supposed to head in another direction but ended up following me to mine - at least halfway. and he was walking really slowly and during the whole time we were together, he asked me stu... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:51
