Yeah, parenting my 42 year old mother, i'm 22 years old, i live in costa rica. I go to the university of costa rica. There's so many reasons why I can't leave home, but pretty much it's because everything here is really close by, and my grandfather doesn't want me to leave my mother alone.
My whole situation is this: my grandfather lives by himself(grandma died 3 years ago), and i believe my mother has borderline personality disorder.

I am an Industrial Engineer, and one of my strongest points is my writing, especially when it is a technical paper. Are there any jobs available that pay well for technical writers, especially with the economy right now? Chester: How do engineering placement agencies work? Why are most engineering jobs through placement agencies?
Most advertised jobs (in Ontario, Canada) seem to be through placement agencies. Are they real, permanent full time jobs? How do these agencies work? Why don't companies hire engineers directly? Are these placement agencies legitimate?
Are the best/better engineering jobs directly through the companies, and not advertised? Are do most engineers work through a placement agency?...

Chester: Who is hiring dynamics and controls engineers?
I have completed the requirements for a master's degree in mechanical engineering! My area of concentration was in dynamics and controls. I have done simulation work in tethered satellites, used computer vision to experimentally determine the dynamics of a bouncing ball, and I had an internship to develop an apparatus which could test shock absorbers in the seats of aircraft!
I would like to get a job in the dynamics and controls area but the jobs in this area seem to be pretty scarce! I have tried company websites, common job sites like monster and hotjobs, and networking and have pretty much exhausted these resources. Your input is greatly appreciated!...

Chester: What type of part-time job could I find that is somewhat related to the environment?
I am 17 years old and currently working as a sales associate at Old Navy. I have been there since April, and I know I want to stay there at least a year from the date I was hired. In March I will be turning 18, and will have more job options. I'm thinking around then I want to start looking for a job that interests me more. I wouldn't be looking for a permanent job, just something to stick with for a few years through college.
I will be studying environmental engineering, so I want something that relates somewhat to the environment/nature. Even a store that sells organic products, or things that help the environment in some way.

Chester: Looking for town with college and good elementary teaching prospects.?
The situation is that I am pursuing an engineering degree with two years left. My fiance' is graduating this semester with a degree in elementary education. We currently live in Pittsburgh, PA and there are hundreds of applicants for every available job. Obviously you see that where I am going with this is that I am looking to find a town that has a college offering a bachelors in mechanical engineering and has a reasonable job market for elementary teachers. Note: She will be graduating with a 3.9 GPA so she should have very high odds of the job she applies for.
