Cheltenham: Which is the better community college in Houston?
Lone Star Community College or Houston Community College? I think they both have campuses with similar distances from my sister's house, which is where I'll be staying. Does either of them have an orchestra, TV or radio station? I'd like some experience in audio/video production and I also play the violin.
Also, I'm not a resident of Texas. I'm from Alaska. I will be moving to Texas to live with my sister after Christmas break....

Ever since I heard about the Walmart employee who was killed I have felt haunted. As a mom, I wonder if parents feed into the hysteria and commercialism of Christmas by overindulging our children. I know this doesnt apply the same to all universities...but Im going to take the upcoming spring semester off, due to financial issues..Just wondering, if i can still enroll again the upcoming fall of 09' semester...Or am i automatically kicked out if i take the semester off..
