Chelmsford: Are exit polls truly reliable?
Not to knock Obama in any way but the media has only projected a win for Obama using exit polling, so what happens if the exit polls weren't accurate or people lied about their votes? I know its kind of unlikely at this point but what if the official votes show that McCain won and not Obama? Would that not be the most horrible upset ever (lol) I mean its like someone telling you that you won the lotto and you get all hype... quit your job, make all this hoopla and come to find out its not valid or something. ...Just something to think about... again for the record, this isnt about bashing either Obama or McCain so no rude comments please.... and does any one know if the official GOVERNM...

Chelmsford: Where do the coalition parties stand on the Colombia free trade agreement? ?
You know--the one the Harper government just rammed through by exploiting the financial crisis. It made great media spin. With all that was happening at the time, it was politically incorrect to oppose it. What a crock. Many are saying it was Harper's parting gift to his friend, George Bush, to help George Bush ram the US-Colombia free trade deal through their Congress before he leaves office. Yes, a time when Canadians will start losing jobs due to the recession the Harper government quietly kicked off the another exodus of jobs to a country with a deplorable human rights record where labour leaders and human rights activists are routine assassinated. Do you think this might h...

Chelmsford: Do Indians realise the game that the Congress controlled media is playing in India?
They are blaming the BJP for criticising the Congress government for their soft stance on terrorism! Who is responsible for the security of the people the party that has formed the government or the Opposition? It is the job of the opposition to be critical of the government if they are not functioning properly! The BJP has been critical of the soft stance of the Congress for years now. The Congress and their media buddies are trying to blame the BJP for their own incompetence and when somebody criticises them they say that Terrorism is being politicized ! This nothing but a shameful way of shutting down all criticism to save the political career of the Congress and i...

Chelmsford: The Best Way to Send Work Samples...?
I am in the process of getting a new job (I'm currently employed at at TV station). I've been in the media business for over 15 years, and I've accumulated a great deal of work in that time, including marketing presentations, research papers, voice over/radio work, newspaper articles, etc. One potential employer asked me to send some of my articles, along with a resume. I've been with my current job for over four years, so I'm just entering the job market again. What is the best way to send copies of my articles? Should I send them in hard copy/color copy form? Should I send them as .pdf files on a CD in a portfolio? Advice? Thanx!...
