Chelmsford: Do you think I could get into Georgetown University?
If you don't think I can, how do you think I can improve my chances? I'm a Junior, I've had a 4.00 for the past 2 years (all honors classes, soon I'll be taking a ton of AP courses), I'm the president of the French Club and Ultimate Frisbee Club. Next year I'll be in NHS and Key Club. I volunteer at an elementary school, and soon the animal shelter and the public library, and next summer I'll do Girls State. I also have a part-time job. I'm mostly worried because I'm not very athletic and I don't go to church, and all of my friends have done countless things with their churches and have played some sort of sport for 8 or so years. I've b...

Chelmsford: Good place to meet females?
Hey My situation is more unique when referring to the face value of my title. I am a young male (20) and I have a job. Thing is, I am not a club or bar go-er type of person. I'm more of a regular guy and when I hang out with friends its usually for a beer at their house or lunch at a restaurant. Overall I'd say im just a regular guy. I have Interests like video games, reading books (history) etc... and some people have told me to go to the Ladies Section in Grocery stores or Libraries and talk to girls in the sections im Interested in. The problem with the above is I like things to be Organic, meaning the setting is natural not head-hunting in the shampoo section of Wal...

What other motorcycles (cruiser only) would you recommend for this or a cheaper price range? Also just a note its my first bike other than the buell 500 we practiced on when getting our MSF licence thing. im 6feet tall...

Chelmsford: What type of college program should I do?
I want to go back to school part time and I'm looking for a program that I can complete in a shorter period of time and actually get hired. I was thinking of one of the following: library technician, dental assistant, human resources, payroll, or computer networking. I've been working in call centres for the past three years and I'm fed up of it. I'm having a hard time getting a real job. I could go to private college because their programs are shorter but I cannot afford it. I've already been to career counselling and did online research but can't make up my mind. I am a shy person, I don't mind working with people but I would prefer to work with informati...

Chelmsford: Is this letter a scam? It doesnt directly ask for money? I feel sorry for the lady if its true.?
Hi, My name is Elena, I have 31 year and I live in Russian province. I work in library and after my work I allowed to use computer when it possible.I finded your address in internet and I decided to write you this letter. I have 7-year daughter Angelina, her father abandoned us and we live with my mother. Due to the crisis recently my mother lost job and our situation became very difficult. The price for heating our home is very high and we cannot afford it anymore. The winter is coming and weather is colder each day. We worry if the temperature will become cold in our home, we don't know how to survive. For heating our home we need portable stove which give heat from burning wood. We h...

Chelmsford: Did I do the right thing telling the girl to not swear at the library?
I work at the library as a page and I overheard 2 customers (a young cute girl and a guy) cursing. Not just once, but ALL THE TIME. Saying the F word and the word b I t c h and so I said: “Shhh excuse me. Lets watch your mouth here. Foul language is unacceptable. There are kids here!” and they give me a dirty look and the guy talks back and gets smart saying: “Fuck you moron!! Since who made you boss?!” and she and him talked back and even spit in my face and I felt like an idiot and wanted to remove them but I didn’t have the authority and I know I am a hyprocrite because I swear all the time! I mean who doesn’t!? haa ahaaa but this was just ridiculous. Theres a time and a place...

Chelmsford: Should I drop out of graduate school?
The program that I am in (Library & Information Science) is so tough and I barely understand what I'm learning, and I recently started it. Yet, I do have good grades in it because when I do assignments, I just copy the textbook and cite the source. I probably understand, like, 20-30% of the material. I'm also not motivated to study and I do my homework and papers at the last minute. The thing is, I can't find a job because I have an undergrad degree in History and the economy stinks. I tried teaching but that fell apart. So, now I'm in school to become an Archivist. I'm pretty sure that's what I want to be, yet I'm not entirely sure because I'm VER...

Chelmsford: How can you tell when it's a problem with the boss or a problem with the employee?
Since college, I’ve had three bosses who provided no orientation for my job, violated the terms of my contract, yelled a lot, and insulted me. I generally avoided them and moved on after a year or two. They were all middle-aged women and I’m a single mom who just turned 30. I generally get along with all the patrons or students I work with (schools and libraries). I just finally quit my current job as an English teacher and I’m depressed. I have no current “good” references, but I have had good working relationships with bosses before and during college, which was many years ago. Do you think it’s a problem with me or bad luck? How do I move on from here?...
