Chelmsford: HELP! I really need this job! Is quickbooks difficult to learn? ?
I got some quickbooks tutorials from the library and thought that if I'd read up on it then I could put it on my resume. I put it on my resume and now a company wants me to go in for an interview. I'm pretty good with debits and credits and I've used many other accounting softwares...just not quickbooks.
I've read books on quickbooks and it seems pretty easy...but what should I say when he asks me how much I know about it?
Thank you!!!... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:38
Chelmsford: What do I do after ive been kicked out of high school?
Ok, ssooo I got kicked out of high school. I have just gotten my g.e.d. and I start college in 3 months. In my town, EVERY store/restaurant only hires 18 years olds and up so I can't get a job to cure my boredom or make money to do things to cure my boredom. I am 17. I live with my mom who is never home, and both of my friends just moved away. I have no girlfriend and I do have a car. What can I do to cure my boredom? I obviously have the internet, but I am getting bored of it. I play the guitar and I am constantly learning new songs but I am looking for something new to get into. I am hoping someone on here can point me into a new direction, give me a few tips to cure boredom, you know... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:22
Chelmsford: What is it Like to Be a Clinical Psychologist?
I am a junior in college. I was thinking of law school but now I am geared towards grad school in psychology. I want to get into a PhD program for clinical psychology.
What is it like to be a clinical psychologist. How much do they make starting out? What types of employment are there for someone fresh out of grad school with that degree?
I just remember going to a psychologist for ADD testing. She charged me $400 for testing so they must make a lot of money? I want a job that is fascinating and gives me an opportunity to study and learn, but at the same time I want to help people.
I am really into the whole positive psychology movement so I want to work on changing peop... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:38

Chelmsford: Philosophy, Anthropology, Sociology, College?
I've been looking into a lot of things...
Mainly those focused around Sociology, I guess...
Anthropology & Philosophy are somethings I'm looking into.
I also thought a bit about Journalism...
I'm really interested in learning about people in general-
How our minds work, why we do what we do, how we evolve...
I question everything around me from
How do they know that our vocabulary is stored in our temporal lobes? to
Basic religious theories...
But, my parents think that these aren't realistic subjects to study & that I wouldn't be able to find a decent job.
[I'm not sure what they expect from me]
I've been r... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:02

Chelmsford: Questions about Arabic...Egypt study/teach abroad?
I am currently in college and I will graduate in December 09' or Spring 10' with a degree in Spanish and Law & Justice. After I graduate, I want to learn Arabic before applying for a job in law enforcement. I want to spend about a year abroad teaching or volunteering (I am thinking about doing this through an organization). Does anyone have any suggestions as to good organizations, preparation, and specific countries or cities? I was thinking about Egypt, since the Arabic spoken there is more widely understood and it seems safe.... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:35
Chelmsford: If your 11 year old son wanted to pull a fire alarm in a fire would you let him?
If your 11 year old son and you were outside and saw a fire and he asked could he pull the fire alarm since he wants to do the right thing and wants to learn what to do if he were alone in this situation.
Would you go with him to the fire alarm and give him verbal instructions as how to operate it etc to make it a learning experience? What verbal advice would you give your son so he knows he is doing it right? If he says to you the directions say break the glass and pull down and he says can I kick the glass would you say something?
When he is pulling the handle would you see to make sure he has a good grip on the handle and that it is going down? Would you offer to pull the... 02 Dec 08, 03:12:31
Chelmsford: Is it possible for a graphic designer with a total mental block for learning web design to actually master it?
I have been in print graphic design for 12 years but was laid off a few months ago. Now I find that there are hardly any print design jobs to even apply to—and that's across the whole country! It seems as if I have no choice but to learn web design if I want to stay in the design field—but I have never been good at it. I am very right brain and am not good with math or coding. Is it actually possible for someone like me to learn it and master it?!!!... 02 Dec 08, 03:12:53
