Cardiff: Is this stalking or harrassment? Should I ignore?
I am 34 year's old woman, married with a child. I recently discovered that one of my big bosses, a CFO in his 50's ( who is not my direct boss) has gone onto my pc and copied or tried to copy my music from my itune without asking me. It seems to have happened a month ago while i was not there. I discovered this when I opened my itune (which i rarely do) and found his name under where it says who's folder and all the songs i didn't recognized. It seems that he tried and failed (because i tunes don't let copy anyone else's music unless u have another softwear). He joined the company about 6 months after I started working, and ever since he would ask me here and t...

Cardiff: Can I do anything about a consistently late paycheck?
I recently moved to southern California from the east coast and have been working at this job for about 3 months now. I am paid semi-monthly so I'm scheduled to be paid on the 10th and 25th of each month. My paycheck has always been 2 to 3 days late and actually never cared (I didn't want to make a big deal out of it). This time however, it' been over a week and I still have not been paid. I called payroll and the lady was rude and stated that she couldn't do anything about it and it is utimately my choice if I wanted to continue waiting for the mail or she can cancel the check and reissue it but that would mean a longer wait. I wasn't too sure about Cali paycheck ru...

Cardiff: Questions about work?
I need some help as to what I should do about my job. I asked to apply for a supervisor position in my department by the head of my department, and the position was then given to someone else. The reason was that they wanted someone with more experience. Which was fine, but then the next day the head of my department came to me and said to ride out this wave because she is looking into creating a new position in the department and she has me in mind for it. I was asked to discuss with my manager some of the issues that she is having with one of her departments. I suggested that there should be another level to oversee the other department that my company is having issues with because there ...

Cardiff: Would you call this flirting if the guy is married?
Some married man say they can flirt, but it doesn't mean that they're looking to cheat on their wives. The women usually see it as an invitation to sex, even if they had to be the ones to make a move. What do you think?? Assume a man flirts with the same woman for a very long time - and this includes all kinds of flirting; from staring all the time to verbal flirting and compliments, to trying to run into her and touching and extra attention (to her job performance, requests, personal ideas), comparing her to his wife and saying that everything about the woman is better, etc. This is also happening in the workplace... in an HR department... do you think that makes a differenc...
