Cardiff: Can a God logically exist if he is not bound by casual laws?
The theistic view of rationalizing God's existence is through accepting 3 core tenets (1) God is a an omnipotent being (2) God carries justice in His hands and that (3) evil exists but it can be contained through God. The first two conditions are absolute and can be applied to various investigations under the scope of the same problem. The third condition is a consequence of the first two, which says that God allowed evil to make us realize what good is. If God can control everything and is capable of guarding justice, He should also be morally obligated to prevent greater evils from happening. The argument that theists use is that there is some design at work that goes against the grai... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:11
Cardiff: Do Casual Employees need to give a reason why they quit?
I got a job through a job agency at a factory picking and packing alcohol and I did one days work and I decided I did not want to go back there because it is a horrible place to work. The factory was hot, dirty and it was back breaking work lifting cartons all day. I was totally stuffed at the end of the day.
I rang the factory manager up the next morning and told him I quit and he was like whatever he didn't care. Then I rang the job agency and they became really angry demanding I give a reason? I was telling her I did not think I could do the job and she said that isn't a good enough reason.
What are my chances of getting paid for the 1 days work I did?

Cardiff: From everything I've read or heard, more men cheat than women. Why?
Why is it that more men seem able to have casual sex with little or no guilt but most women must have an emotional connection first? Then, if they do have an extramarital affair, feel much more guilty. Is it genetically built into each sex or can men separate emotion from physical satisfaction more easily or ???
So, from the men so far, it seems a lot think that ladies cheat just as much. How about that ladies? Is it true? If it is, why can't I find you? :)... 03 Dec 08, 10:12:03

Cardiff: Give me the plus and negatives of the Wii?
Thinking about buying a Wii, but a few people have told me it's really aimed at the more casual gamer and that a lot of it's games lack substance and aren't really that indepth.
What do you feel are the plus and negative points of the Wii? Do you think it's worth buying?
Thanks... 03 Dec 08, 10:12:36
Cardiff: Any suggestions on office superlatives?
Every year our company has a holiday office party. It's extremely unpolitical and very casual. At max there's like 45 people who come. Well it's basically all nerds and geeks (considering we're a technology company).
I need some really good and funny suggestions for superlatives that would relate to being very geeky. (I also would like to say that most of these guys still live at home and are about 30 even though they make $100k + per year)
Any help would be great! Thanks!... 03 Dec 08, 10:12:11
Cardiff: I need a nice dressy outfit?
When I went to a semi-fancy restaurant for dinner on Thanksgiving, it occurred to me that I really don't have anything dressy to wear, so I'm going to go shopping in a few days and try to get a few casual-dressy outfits, but I can't think of any kind of clothing piece to buy. I don't wear long pants really, but skirts would be okay, and maybe a sweater or nice top. I also have no idea what kind of shoes to wear. Flats look bad on me, but heels are all right as long as they aren't too tall or fancy.... 03 Dec 08, 10:12:10

Cardiff: Quick question about my borther in-law's wedding?
My brother in law is getting married, and my 4 kids (ages 8, 4, 3 and 3) are the flower girls and ring boy. They're obviously going to be extremely tired, so I was planning to bring a change of comfy clothing for the reception. Should I bring pajamas or a casual outfit? This isonly a small question that my husband and I have been contemplating for a while now, because we want the day to run as smoothly as possible.... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:03
