A lot of people say I should wear somewhat like that.
I mean you don't want to go too formal. I know for a fact some people are going to be wearing black vans or some sort of casual tennis shoes along with their suits...... 07 Jan 09, 08:01:14
Canterbury: Is He A Waste of My Time?
I have been working at a company for 2 years and have been crushing on a supervisor for basically a year. During this time I have lavished him with hundred dollar gift cards, I've taken him out o n his B-day and even plan to take him along with me to a Britney Spears concert. He has never bought me anything. I guess I dont think I am worthy of his attention. We have been acting as casual friends but deep down I want more. My friends tell me that a year is long enough to hide my feelings from someone but it is hard for me to open up. The concert is in five months and I am giving myself (and him) time to reveal or feelings for each other during this time. After that I am thinking about jus... 07 Jan 09, 08:01:59
Canterbury: Why do some men openly flirt with other women (friends, waitresses, etc.) right in front of you?
And I'm not just talking about casual flirting. I'm talking about inappropriate touching, rubbing, etc. Why do some men do this? Why do they think that it's ok to act like this especially when you're present? Is it an insecurity thing? Is it a I haven't sowed all of my wild oats thing ? Is it an attention thing? What is the deal?... 07 Jan 09, 08:01:17

Canterbury: Why do some people seem to be attracted to needy people and others aren't?
In the last few years I have been in relationships where I have always been the person rescuing others.
Two years ago I met this girl who had a number of issues which she told me about, the way she was talking I was surprised she was alive, she told me how she had grown up with abuse, hate violence etc and when we got talking she said she started having strong feelings for me not long after she proposed, a few months later she put our relationship on hold and I waited hoping that it was only temporary and she needed time. Last year January she gave me the its not you speech effectively ending the friendship.
I had so much hope for this relationship kept hoping it wasnt the ... 07 Jan 09, 08:01:54

Canterbury: Will someone help me with the wording for my invitations?
I am having a laid back wedding at a beautiful park surrounded by 22 acres of woods. I want to make the invitations simple and nice but not to the formal degree. We are having a lot of homecooked foods and we are also having things like cornhole and ladder golf for people to play.
There is a play ground for the kids (I have a 3 year old so it's a very kid friendly wedding) and a huge indoor lodge for the reception along with a huge outdoor pavilion.
I know that the tone of the invitation lets people know how formal the wedding will be so I want it to show a casual (khaki and nice shirt type deal, sun dresses, etc.) However I can't seem to figure out the wording without it be... 07 Jan 09, 07:01:25
