Canterbury: I really need some help from someone of the unknown right now please...?
Okay, this is gonna be a little long so please just read it and take it in. I have been in a relationship with this guy now for only 7 months but we have fallen head over heels for eachother and still keep on a fallin everytime we see eachother. Its just one of those gut feelings that you get when you really know something is just, well, right! I am only 18 years old and I just recently joined the Air Force. I know that joining the armed forces is really something that I want to do for myself and I am going to do it, obviously. But there is a little problem... I am in love. I just found out yesterday that I am not going to be put on base where I intended on, which is where I would be closer ...

Canterbury: Exciting jobs?
Hey I am 15 and live in England, for a while now i have constantly been thinking about what I want to do and what i want out of life. If there is one thing that I am passionate about and love the most it is adventure, by that I mean seeing the world, being in the wild, bungee jumping and all that stuff. I would love a job that allows me to experience these things(definitely not the armed forces), but I don't know of one, I was thinking a bit about zoology but I don't really know enough about it and although i like them and am interested by them I don't love animals, i think i could learn to though. Basically i was wondering what ideas anyone could come up with, money is import...

Canterbury: I am writing a story but......?
I have a few questions about my plot idea? 1.) It takes place at a Boarding school. Should it be during the great depression or not? 2.) If not, I was thinking of the main character (Madison) going there when she was 8 and when she turned 10, they started accepting boys. At age 12, Ione of the male workers there could start abusing her but she is too embarassed to tell anyone, so she keeps it a secret. Until her best friend, Cailey, see's the marks on her legs and arms and then Madison tells Cailey the truth and Madison makes Cailey promise not to tell anyone and Cailey promises but she says if anything else happens they have to tell someone. A couple years later when Madison turned...

Canterbury: WOULD YOU RATHER!!?
I love this game! Let's not be boring and say 'none as they're haram!' Would you rather: Be 4'1 or 7'9 ? Live without music or live without T.V.? Eat a bar of soap or drink a bottle of dishwashing liquid? Be called a racist or a traitor to your country? Lose your legs or lose your arms? Have a beautiful house and ugly car or an ugly house and beautiful car? Be blind or deaf? Live in Antarctica or Death Valley? In a fire, save a sibling or a stranger? Eat sushi or liver? Have 3 eyes or webbed feet? Meet the president of the U.S. or Billy Graham? Find true love or 1 million dollars? Always have to say everything on your mind or never spe...

Canterbury: Can't Figure Out A Dream About A Star That I Had! Please Help!?
Ok. I had a very strange dream about a singer. Its really confusing. I wanna know if you think he could have had it to. I dreamed that i was kidnapped by two men. They forced me to get a job as a waitress in a really fancy hotel. One day the star's band had a concert there and i was ruining late for work and had to change clothes there. After i got there the woman's bathroom flooded. This girl i don't know pulled me to this master sweet. I was changing clothes in the room and Billy Ray Cyrus came in there. he said he was the body guard and he told me to finish changing in the bathroom of the room. (I had off only my shirt. When I was in the bathroom the windows were open an...

Canterbury: UK: Is there anything illegal in organising a militia to defend home soil in case of invasion?
Some friends and I were discussing this at work to while away the time. I ought to point out that we are not planning to do anything of the kind and none of us have any military leanings- it simple was a conversation between friends to fill a few idle minutes. We live in Bristol. For the sake of argument let's say that we are territorials or ex-military so we have some level of armed training. Is there anything, legally, to stop us from forming a militia that would be mobilised should the UK ever be invaded and our own armed forces being defeated? Kind of like saying, 'if we are ever invaded, we will form a resistance,'. Could we legally train in everything except t...
