How can I gain more confidence in trying to cross-sell bank account products?
The trend of banks to push massive sales targets is getting harder and harder to achieve and I have found it harder and harder to achieve these targets.
I've lost confidence and need ideas to feel comfortable in asking people about other accounts in a time when people are struggling financially.

Canterbury: Is this the perfect Bank Robbery?
I post a question to a website called e.g. www.bankrobbideas.com that asks if any one is interested in a job. So my question says I'm looking to recruit a team of five:
1. A expert in accounts and law. This expert will give advice about keeping evidence to zilch if the job went wrong and everyone was arrested. Also they would be in charge of advice about front companies for washing the money.
2. A computer expert to give computer training to the team.
3. A Dr in case after the job someone got shot and we had to lie low in a safe house. The Dr can do medical stuff to heal.
4. A hot woman. So she can help to distract the security systems and also flirt with. She must also be rich and ... 07 Jan 09, 08:01:32

Canterbury: Will I be able to afford this car as my first?
I currently receive allowances of about $85 a week. I am 14, and in my state, I can get a work permit. I am having a hard time finding a job. I am hoping to find one within 6 months. I can work 18 hours a week, so I will get hours as close to that as I can. The minimum wage in my state is $8 an hour, so lets say I get that, and I work 18 hours a week. Maybe I should continue to do chores even when I have a job. When I turn 16, I will be able to up my hours to 40/week. I added it all up, and it seems that in a CD account with a minimum monthly interest rate of 2%, I can save up a little over 20k when I turn 16.5 (that is the age I can get my license). That is what the calculations came out to... 07 Jan 09, 07:01:44
Canterbury: Is there a great deal of sales pressure in a personal banker position with US Bank?

I realize that one component of a banker's work is to open new accounts, cross-sell other financial services to existing customers, and try to seek out new customers. Therefore, would you describe this job as a high pressure sales position? Are there specific sales quotas that bankers have to meet to avoid losing their jobs?... 07 Jan 09, 07:01:39
