News Articles on Learning Jobs in Canada
Canada: Why do liberals say I am greedy for not wanting to share more of the money that I make?
Did it ever occur to them that they could get a job or learn how to budget?
Am I really greedy because I don't want to be forced to donate to causes I am not for?
What makes them think they have the right to decide where other people's money should go?
FYI: Yes, I hate Paris Hilton because she is FILTHY rich for nothing, but that's HER money and I would never vote on something..or for someone..that thought they had the right to take that away. Some people are just rich! Get over it!
From the bonehead answers it's apparent that liberals are responding to this. I never indicated I was rich. You don't have to be rich in order to not ... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:15
Canada: Is dropping out, getting my GED, and going to college sooner better for me?
Ok I am a high school senior right now. Yes I understand I don't have that much longer to go but at this point all of the classes I am taking have absolutely no point. I am almost done with my first semester at my high school. And two out of four of next semesters classes are electives and the other two are calculus (I have never met someone who has used this) and American history. At my school the academic classes are insanely easy and Ive tried the AP history which brings me to my next point. I failed my AP history class last year and am now in night school. I now have to somehow get $115 more to pay for it by Dec 17. I have a job (one that sucks and one i just started so i wont be ge... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:41
Canada: multiple questions here about logic IQ as well as weather im paranoid or picking up social and visual Q's?
K first of all I am a developmental psychology student. I am a fairly weird personality mainly because well I have multiple learning disabilities, I have ADD, and a slow visual processing speed disability. I have always been fairly odd, I enjoy working on computers taking them apart and such. As a child I had a fair amount of social anxiety and did not do well socially. As I have aged I am much more competent, I still have attentional issues, as well as a hard time getting started on assignments I procrastinate allot.
Anyways now to the question basically I have started to notice I am treated quite differently because well probably because of my disability and such and being in a deve... 03 Dec 08, 08:12:49
Canada: How should I talk to my husband about this?
I'm married for the second time. My husband loves my two kids from my first marriage almost as if they were his own, despite the fact that he's only known them for a few years. He's basically a good guy and a good father-figure to them and a good father to our little girl. But he can get worked up and frustratingly angry over decisions I make for MY older kids. My oldest, a 17 year old son, is going to live with his father, not far away. His father is a good guy for the most part, although a lot more permissive and lax than I am. There is alot of stress in our household causing my son some anxiety and he'd like to go live with his dad for a while. If I say no, he... 03 Dec 08, 08:12:35
Canada: I want to go home, what do I do?
My family recently moved to Colorado and I HATE it here. We have been here a month and I only have one friend and ironically it's with a girl that no other girls at school like. Another girl flat out told me that as long as I stay friends with her, I'll never make any other female friends. I don't even know why all of the other girls hate her so much since I think she's very pretty and nice. Also, there is nothing to do here and I miss all of my old friend and my boyfriend. I thought I would be able to see them all during winter break but my dumb mom told me that we aren't going to be able to come back to Raleigh for Christmas because my dad's job will only give... 03 Dec 08, 07:12:38
Canada: Why do business degrees get such a bad rap?
My family is as blue collar as you can get, neither of my parents graduated highschool, and I never learned of business. Terms like initial public offering, stockholder's equity and P/E ratio were unheard of to me. SO when I came to college, I learned about the business school and it excited me. I learned that majors such as finance and accounting led to jobs that were both sought after and well paying. So I became and accounting major, now third year.
Since then, I've herad a lot of criticism of business majors, and not just the generic general managment major. People talk of business majors being joke majors, and one older woman was horrified to learn that I wa... 03 Dec 08, 07:12:31

Canada: Has anyone on here ever worked or are working at a AT&T Call Center?
I just got a new job at a local AT&T call center. I start next Tuesday. I'm pretty nervous about the whole learning of the job and if I'm gonna be any good at it. I just wanted to know what to expect and if you could tell me the pros and cons about the job. I just quit a little part-time pizza place job that I hated. So I know that it is gonna take some getting used to.... 03 Dec 08, 07:12:11
Canada: What should I do in this situation with my supervisor?
I'm pretty new at this job and still learning the ropes. I asked my supervisor for help and he explained how to do something. A few hours later I get notified that I did it wrong and why did I do this. This has happened a few times now. I ask him for help and he explains stuff and I do exactly what he says but its wrong. The reason is that he doesnt really listen or explains too fast. Since I am new I am trying to get on his good side and dont want to roll him under the bus with his supervisor but how should I handle this if it happens again in the future? Should I say he told me to do it?
This happened today. He called me to give me training on the topic. Then he realized he di... 03 Dec 08, 07:12:52
