Canada: Job Openings for Archaeologist?
A friend of mine has a Masters in Maritime Archaeology and a B.A. in Anthropology. She is having an excruciating time trying to find a job in any of these areas, even just to get a job at a museum around Washington D.C. for any related or unrelated novice position. Can someone help me point her in the right direction? She is extremely well-spoken and well-written and is an exceptional teacher/tour guide.

Canada: Finding the perfect job..?
I am trying to find my perfect future job, but it is hard because my interests are very scattered and vary. Here are a few of my interests :
-I like history, and learning about how we got here, our culture, animals and how we have evolved.
-I like writing and music.
-I like to cook.
-I like animals, and learning about different species.
-I like helping others, and finding solutions as to how to help.
etc.
Could someone offer a few ideas for jobs that are in the range of my interests?? Thank you!

Canada: Already have associates, how long to earn BA in Nursing?
I just earned my Associated Degree in Health Care Administration and I am now looking to go into Nursing. How long will it take?

Canada: What can I call my classroom helpers?
I'm about to start teaching a grade 6 class in January, and I'm not sure what name I should use for my classroom helpers.
For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, each week, 2 students are assigned (using a roster so it's fair) the job of being the classroom helpers for the week. This includes things like running errands, answering the classroom phone, handing out workbooks etc. When I taught younger year levels I would call this 'helping hands' and get the students to each decorate a paper hand with their name on it, and the appropriate hands would get stuck up on the board each week. But the helping hands idea seems a bit lame for grade 6.

Canada: Trade Schools- help!?
I'm going to be honest, I'm a horrible student. I've always been that way, and I can't really do a whole lot to change it. I'm trying to have a career- almost any career at this point- in design, either graphic or interior.
I had to drop out of Kent State University after one semester because I was doing so badly, and came back home and have been attending community college ever since. quite frankely, i'm extremely tired of going to school at all...I can't stand it and want it to be over with, and I'm still doing bad even with just two basic classes and no job. Canada: Economy; car companies; UAW; Are we really THAT STUPID?
I'm beginning to think that the so called, Big Three car companies are now at the point of pandering to congress and the American people by, instead of flying in their corporate jets to Washington DC, driving HYBRIDS for testimony before congress now.....
And then we have the almighty UAW taking out full paged ads pretty much telling the American people to DEMAND a bail out to prevent the collapse of Ford, GM, and Chrysler!
Please tell me that you who are not United Auto Worker Union Members agree with:
