Canada: Has anyone worked as an animal care specialist for the army?
I was job-hunting when I found out that the Army (nearby where I live) wants to hire someone to take care of the horses and dogs that they have. I'd love to work there, but I wonder if I'd have to enlist in the army to do that? Also, what would I have to do there? They said that the animal caretaker would be under the supervision of a Veterinary Corps officer. I hope that doesn't mean I'll be yelled at every minute. If anyone can tell me anything about this job, I'll appreciate it a lot.... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:39
Canada: I need some advice on what to decide.?
I am 18 years old and currently enrolled in my first year at college. Before I ever applied to college I debated whether to go to college or not. I basically only went because school counselors and teachers said EVERYONE should go to college. Growing up I never had a dream job. Since I've been at school I have still not found what I like and I'm not interested in the subjects here. The only thing I am interested in is war movies/documentaries, guns/shooting, military stuff, and hunting. But my dad, who is a retired Navy SEAL, wants me to get a degree and my mum wants me to stay in college. But I don't want to. I want to experience being in the military.
Does anyone have any... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:52
Canada: MY ONLINE JOB HUNT!!?
I am a single mother of three, going back to school next semester, and I was trying to find a legitimate job online to help me pay my bills and still allow me to spend time with my boys. I have tried the fill out surveys and get paid and I am looking for something a little more consistent like a data entry job or something. I don't have money to buy one of those home-based business offers. So if anybody has some good answers thank you in advance. It would be much appreciated.... 03 Dec 08, 07:12:06
Canada: Dream interpretation? Here's my dream...?
I started with a history, in the dream. I was running, trying to get away from some people who were trying to kill me. I had done so before, it seemed numerous times, and had failed and died eventually in all, but could only really remember the most recent time. I was, in one sense, the exact same as they were, we were all human, and I didn’t have any special power or ability. But, they also regarded me as though I were some foul beast that had to be killed on principle.
I just wanted to Live… to live, in my own way, I sought freedom. But before freedom came survival, and the fight for my life was painful, difficult, and seemingly never ending. I had failed so many times, dying, alway... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:18
Canada: Contract Job and Subbing on Resume?
I need a little bit of resume help. I am a recent college grad (graduated in May) and got an awesome professional job right away in Washington, DC, however, it was a contract position that only lasted until the end of September. Therefore, I have returned back home and because I've been saving up for a car, I haven't been as serious about job hunting until now. In the meantime, I have been substitute teaching so that I can have some money coming in, but education doesn't relate to my career field. I am wondering if I should include it in my resume? I think it looks good that I have been working and therefore don't have empty space for the past couple months when I'v... 03 Dec 08, 01:12:27
