Cambridge: What does it mean when someone says keep having children?
My government teacher said something to me that he was really passionate about and I don't understand what he was trying to prove or say?
He was explaining welfare and he didn't do a good job because I don't get it please explain it Im having a quiz and welfare will be on it.
Here is the most confusing part, he said: they see the check so they think oo lets have another baby and then they get another check and they say lets have another baby.
he was on a roll and I didn't want to interrupt if you are learning this or you know then please elaborate. thanks

Cambridge: Which should i choose?
I'm a junior in high school, and i haven't been single since the 7th grade. Long story short i was in a TERRIBLE relationship 8-9th grade. Another boyfriend i really fell in love with 9-10th, and now a new boyfriend 10th-present with a few random hook ups in between.
Now with my second boyfriend, there was a certain point after we had been dating for a while and new each other for a longggg time where i sat back and suddenly realized that i loved him, which is a huge thing for me. After 8 months i broke up with him though because he does have some issues, high school drop out (but claims he has 20 credits left then he can graduate) he's homeless, (parents kicked him out as ... 04 Dec 08, 12:12:21
Cambridge: Please proof read Animal Cell paper?
In this paper I will discuss and explain the tipical plant cell. First of all, the
plant cell is shaped in a somewhat circular or round shape. It most likely gets it's shape
from the flexible outer layer, the cell membrane, which regulates the materials passing
through, and the gell like filling called cytoplasm. This filling also contains and protects
the organelles, or what carrys out certain functions and processes inside the cell. The
most important organelle is the nucleus. It is the cell's Brain . On top of that, it contains
the nucleolus. The nucleolus produces ribosomes, witch produce protiens for the cell. The
ribosomes can sometimes b... 04 Dec 08, 12:12:57
Cambridge: Am I wrong? Please tell me both professional & just common sense opinions.?
I am asking this question to see what the general public thinks. I know ethically what is right, as well as my rights legally. Just curious if the general public is really as ignorant/immoral as my ex-tenants are.
My ex-tenants/ex-friends had a puppy & this puppy urinated all over the house while they lived here. He was training, and learning, but had many accidents. We agreed that when they moved out the tenants would get the carpets cleaned to remove the urine odor. Well they decided to up and move out without notice, and I told them that I would expect payment with respect to a 30 day notice which meant they had to pay for 15 days of the next month, as well as I still expect t... 04 Dec 08, 12:12:28

Cambridge: Finding the perfect job..?
I am trying to find my perfect future job, but it is hard because my interests are very scattered and vary. Here are a few of my interests :
-I like history, and learning about how we got here, our culture, animals and how we have evolved.
-I like writing and music.
-I like to cook.
-I like animals, and learning about different species.

Could someone offer a few ideas for jobs that are in the range of my interests?? Thank you!
I am also interested in law.. like defending people who can't defend themselves.
I am also very interested in how the mind works, (how we think, feel, why we do things) and also how the... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:27

Cambridge: McDonalds Employees! Please help!?
They hired me for front counter order taker, and I sat through an hour of computer training listening to some french fry box tell me how to do the job, then they just threw me on the front register...
For those of you who have worked or work for MCD's, how long did it take you to learn the POS front register? The person who was training me was never there when I had a question either.
I have worked a cash register before, but the way McD's has it set up just seems to make taking an order more complex than it needs to be.
This is a Part-Time job around school, by the way, so if it doesn't work out, no big deal...
Any help or tips is very much... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:21

Cambridge: I want to be a better person ... Help!?
Help ...
I want to be a better person in every sense of the word …
I want to be good for those around me, my friends and family and my partner. I want to be a excellent friend, daughter, girlfriend ... and I feel that in everything I do I am failing at that!
I also want to better myself mentally and physically ... but whenever I try I also feel like I am not doing enough and that I am not achieving anything.
I look at myself and I hate what I see and not just in the way I look but the way I know I am ... and when I try and change it ... doesn't work ...
All my friends tell me I am great as I am ... but I know there is so much more I should be doing. My Mum is always t... 03 Dec 08, 10:12:17
