Cambridge: Do teachers in Oregon get domestic partner benefits? ?
My partner and I have lived together for 3 years. He is about to (finally) get his teacher certification. I was wondering if I could get health benefits through his teaching job once employed. I've googled and such but haven't gotten anywhere with that. Also would I have to file with the state to become partnered legally, or is there a common law type deal that you've lived together for such a long period it is considered valid?... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:14
Cambridge: Should i change my major?
Hi there i am currently a junior at CSU fullerton. My major is Public administration. Should i change it to political science. If i do political science i could get out of school two semestes from now. With Public administration i have to do 3 more semesters. My goal is to go to law school, but i will need to get a good job after getting my BA because my parents won't let me stay in their house after i graduate from college. Currently i have a part time job, but it does not pay for much. So will political science get me a better job than a public administration degree. I know that both degrees are not that marketable, but wich one do you think is better?... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:19
Cambridge: Don't I deserve something?
My husband and I have been separated for almost a year and half. He is in a treatment program in Louisiana and I am in rural Arkansas. Jobs are few and far between. I have to ask my husband for money. In the last year and a half, he's given me a TOTAL of 210 dollars. I have a friend who is married to a family law attorney and he has asked why isn't my husband giving me monthly financial support. I currently have less than 10 bucks to my name. Shouldn't he be giving me something on a monthly basis?
He's in transitional housing. He has a full time job. 40 plus hours a week making $10/hour.... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:54
Cambridge: For the LEOs: How much do you like/dislike tv shows like CSI, Foresic Files, First 48?
Although I find these shows very interesting, I can only imagine how difficult this may have made your day to day job. I bet everyone wants you to swab for DNA, fingerprint, and find fibers on every single crime that is committed. Do you also think these shows are making your job more difficult by giving real criminals tips or an heads up on new techniques used by law enforcement. I guess in a sense it can be a study tool for criminals, making them more savvy, and keen to your abilities and techniques.
Do you even bother watching these shows or do they just bother the hell out of you?... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:33

Cambridge: Does anyone believe Michael Martin, the Speaker of the House?
I was just watching Michael Martin say he didn't know anything about the police being involved in the arrest of Damien Green, and that they didn't have a warrant to search his office, and that he didn't allow the police into the Commons. Do you believe it or not, looking at this man i think he is lying through his teeth, and that he acted like the police on the orders of Jacqui Smith the Home Secretary. Seems to me this is one example of one law for the New Labourites and one for the rest of the populace. Whilst Labour were in opposition, it was well known that Brown leaked documents through surreptitious means, and that now a Tory minister no less, doing what he is supposed t... 03 Dec 08, 06:12:25

This is written by an animal control officer.
A letter from an Animal Control Officer Apr 4, 2008 9:32 AM
This is deserving of your time...and of those you know. Think occasionally of
the suffering of which you spare yourself the sight. Yes, I Gas Dogs and Cats
