I'm seventeen, & i graduated from Barbizon Modeling/Acting school about 3 years ago. Since then I have not found a gig, basically the school didn't help me. Broadway: Is there a way to get out of paying for college tuition? bogus school?
I went to a legit school in TX, but in the end it was boo boo school I feel I did not learn anything there, I graduated and everything, got my assoc.'s degree but have not ever used it. At first when I applied I asked if I would make more money than what I was making (was making $14.50 hr) by the time I graduated they were right about, that they would always look for work for me, but the only offers that they gave me were $9.50 hr jobs, (I was thinking, I could of done that myself looked for a sucky pay job) And since I made too much they federal loan did not cover my total tuition @ $17,000. so my boyfriend is acting like a baby again, a 19 yr old who just lost his job with last minute back up plans which i advised him a week ago but he never acted on them
he's pissed off bc i told him to not get me a christmas present bc i want him to save his money and he gets all angry

Broadway: Thought about getting a job selling cars.?
I've been unemployed for a month and was thinking about selling cars. I read that you have to know your product and have thick skin, and you work with mostly men. I sold jewelry at Walmart but that is all the sell experience that I have. I think the only problem I would have is learning everything about the cars that I will be selling. I don't have a problem at all with working with men, Ive worked at a job with all men for years and I loved it. So I have really thick skin. They pretty much treated me like one of the guys. Should I give it a shot? How much do they get paid and what is the training process....

Okay, I just got offer from a new job, eventhough it is sesonal at Macys. But it relate to my major, since soon or later I will have to quit my job at Rice since I will have to start working on my internship next month on January. And after thinking for a day, I think i should take the new job eventhough it will be seasonal, but I will get to learn all the valuable experience at Macy, since my major is fashion design.
