Bristol: Moving to Chapel Hill, apartment question...?
I am up for a job at the UNC hospital and I am wondering what are some of the good apartments down there? I am looking for something on the cheaper side because I want to save and pay off student loans. I am in my mid 20s so I would like something not complete college area but not a senior center. I am fine with living outside Chapel Hill. But what are the nicer, safer areas and what should I stay away from? What can I expect to pay right away? I am used to paying just a small deposit but down there do I have to pay something like two months in advance? Is it better to rent a house over a apartment down there? Also, I heard that there is a lot of roach infestations, which ones are th... 23 Nov 08, 08:11:24
Bristol: Adict husband, 1year old son, another on the way. Help?
I am 8 months pregnant with a one year old son. My husband is a meth head, so we lost our house. I am now living with my parents, and am on welfare. I have no idea what my husband is doing. Please don't tell me to leave him, because all Im waiting on is a certificate of wellness from a rehab center, a job, and a house from him before I think about moving back in with him. What I want to know is, how do I deal with all this?
Sorry, left out details. Right now(and I know this is going to sound bad) hes out on the streets. He is in Lancaster while I am in Simi Valley. I gusse hes doing what he does best. I don't expect him to be free and clear of drugs right after rehab, but the fact ... 23 Nov 08, 06:11:02

Bristol: what's her problem? ?
I asked my mom if I could volunteer at an animal shelter earlier this week, she said that i was being self-centered because I relied on her for transportation and the place isn't exactly right down the street. She said I needed to get a job instead. I was upset..but I accepted it. So the other day I found an opening at K-Mart for cashier and I tried to apply online. I asked her for my social security number because that's what it asked for, and she said that she wasn't going to give it to me because I would still have to rely on her for transportation and she doesn't know what hours she'll be working at a part-time job she was planning to get. i tell her that there w... 22 Nov 08, 10:11:39

A county prosecutor who brought indictments this week against Vice President Dick Cheney and others pounded his fist and shouted at the judge Friday during a routine hearing. Willacy County District Attorney Juan Angel Guerra asked Presiding Judge Manuel Banales to recuse himself from the case, which alleges abuse at federally run prisons.
Attorneys for the vice president and other defendants leapt to their feet in objection as Guerra pounded the table and accused Banales of giving the defendants special treatment.
Now all of a sudden there is urgency, Guerra shouted. Eighteen months you kept me indicted throu... 22 Nov 08, 01:11:06

Why Men Can Not Win
If you work too hard, there is never any time for her.
If you don't work enough, you're a good-for-nothing bum.
If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, it's exploitation.
If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay, you should get off your butt and find something better.
If you get a promotion ahead of her, it's favoritism.
If she gets a job ahead of you, it's equal opportunity.
If you mention how nice she looks, it's sexual harassment.
If you keep quiet, it's male indifference.
If you cry, you're a wimp.
If you don't, you're insensitive.
