Bristol: Baby P - the fall out... a child removal boom ?
We read that the consequences of the Baby P case causing a public and political outcry, has been for social workers across the land to panic and refer more cases of suspected abuse for child removal. Whats the problem with that you cry, its about time these social workewrs did their job, well thats fine but who is going to look after all these children in care ? are you a foster parent ? do you work in a child care home ? are you going to apply now ? if not where is this country going to get the money, the staff, the foster parents to look after all these children ? and ultimately the skilled staff to put these familys back together again ?

Bristol: Are we ready to buy a home?
Here are the details:
My husband and I (no kids) have lived in our apartment for about 7 years (we're both 30 yrs old.) We hate our neighborhood and plan on having kids very soon. Our income combined is ~$75K and we have about $17K saved ($7K of that is from 401K), basically enough for a 10% down payment. I have excellent credit, he claimed bankruptcy 4 yrs ago.)
We really want to buy a co-op (max is $120K we'll most likely get a 1 bedroom in our city for that amount) but the thing is, I'm a freelancer. I am the bread winner but am very afraid of my income drying up. Business has been good, just worried what with the economy. He's very stable at his job, but he's... 23 Nov 08, 10:11:05

My parents divorced when i was five (old enough to be affected by divorce, might i ADD). And I went to live with my mom and gramma. So my mom met this dude(current step father who i dislike...4 reasons...i will not publicly announce) and married him. It the time between that, i had supervised visits with my padre'. I loved my dad. He went to jail when i was still living with him (with mom) for sexual abuse or somethin. But i won't get inta that. So he would write me letters (but my mom kept em from me). She just recently gave them to me when me and my siste... 23 Nov 08, 08:11:35

Bristol: What does it mean when a coworker asks you out to coffee again?
I started a new job and I noticed a supervisor (male) glaring at me during training. I thought I was being paranoid. When I started working in the office, he stated that we should go grab of coffee even though he had just told me he doesn't like coffee. I ignored it the next day in the office but than he asked me again, so I finally took him on about a week later. Before I took him up on it I always noticed he would start smiling whenever he saw me and I did the same. We went to get coffee and talked for a while, I paid even though he wanted to. We sat and talked for about an hour when he glanced at his phone and said I really should go home. Just after he tried to set up another meeti... 23 Nov 08, 08:11:28
