News Articles on Armed Forces Job in Bristol

Bristol: Should I get in line early for the soup kitchen?
It's not looking too good. I live in Michigan. How bad will this recession(depression?) get? I'm considering joining the Navy or Armed Forces if my corrections job doesn't come through! I have a college degree, but there's nothing else out there!...

Bristol: How much can I get for a Nintendo and Super Nintendo, plus games?
I have a Nintendo (which has a custom paint job of Link on it), and a Super Nintendo, plus about 20-30 games (including Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt with the gun). How much do you think I could get for this? I'd sell it at this store near my house that specializes in old video games and consoles. Also, how much could I get for Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway and Star Wars Force Unleashed? Thanks. :) I want to sell them because I don't play them. They've been collecting dust in my closet (and the games under my bed in a box), and I figured I could get some money for them....

Bristol: omg! what do i say to him?
i am a real individualist. dont get me wrong i have A LOT of friends and a boyfriend. but i like to kind of do things my own way even if it means im doing it alone. I already have trust issues because of something that happend last year. but yea like i said i like to do things at my own pace in my own way and im not big on being tied down anywhere i like to be able to make my own decisions and to change my mind at the last minute. my boyfriend like to be everywhere i am and when ever we're together (which is a lot) he wants to cuddle i do not see a problem with this however his timing is off. i am very busy around school. im in dance and choir and i have a club to run and another club i...

Bristol: What are all of the breeds of dogs that could be a service dog for anybody with a disability? ?
Members of the Armed Forces came home, injured, and they had a program for them. They gave them service dogs to help them. They were interviewing the soldiers and showing them with their new best friends. I was in tears and am again, as I type this! It's such a nice story...I love how smart and lovable dogs could be! I respect and care about our soldiers, I'm really happy they have these dogs for them! I was wondering what breeds of dogs do they use for this particular job?...

Bristol: What if every us citizen (over 18 & not in jail)got one million $ tax free. wouldn't that stimulate economy?
This question was posed a month ago. Yet it is a resolved question so I couldn't post a reply. So I'll start a new one. While this is a valid question that MANY have been asking. I personally think it is possible to do so. However, not with just a hand out of $1million dollars. We are seeing the down side to giving Hand outs and the abuse it causes by what's happening on Wall Street. The way this could work would be by giving credits not a lump cash sum. Rather, a credit system. And it would be for US Citizens over the age of 18 not living overseas unless they are in the armed forces or working for a government agency and they must not be in Jail or have a Prior Fe...

Bristol: Why are so many people bashing JWs?
Most of the people on here haven't even been IN the religion, and they think they know everything about it. Why must such huge conflict be brought upon this small question of religion? I am not exactly a JW, but I study, and I want to live by bible standards. I do appreciate what JW's teach, and I'm happy to even know about this religion. ALSO, I have observed the fact that a lot of non JW's are unhappy, and there's so many things wrong in their life. But all the JW people I DO know, have great lifes, jobs, obedient children, happy family life, because they live by the bible, and they always make meetings. I've always envied them. I've had a really bad home...

Bristol: Is anyone else a little worried about the list of BNP members?
(for those that don't know, the BNP are a political party in the UK called the British National Party, and aren't particularly nice people - made up of racists and homophobes) And now a disgruntled employee has published the entire membership on the web for all to see... The list includes teachers, armed forces personnel and police officers... What backlash will there be for these people and their job prospects???...

Bristol: If the federal government aides homeowners?
Whose houses are in threat of being foreclosed, should they not help everyone equally? I could have bought a house and been in a foreclosure situation but did the research and decided that an ARM mortgage is not a good thing. If they refinance these homes through Fannie and Freddie and other banks should they then be forced to offer me the same equity adjustments and low rate refinancing they offer these folks, or should only the irresponsible be rewarded? And no I am not talking about people who lost their jobs and are now in foreclosure because you know what the government would not have done anything for you normally. Obama WOn: As I said my issue is not with the people who fell on hard t...

Bristol: UAW an embarrassment for the true American worker?
UAW refuses to work with cuts to keep jobs, what a disgusting bunch. Thread a bolt, guide a computerized arm to assemble parts and you brand your self SKILLED . Welcome to the real world. Nothing could be further from what the American will do for there job. We as American workers will give everything to continue our work force to be productive and competitive. Agree or no? Joshua H, have no clue big Lib here. Just dealing with reality Bub, you've been sold out by unions. Wake up and save you dues for grocerys. p.s. been there paid dues and watched the local prosper from new members paying through the back door....

Bristol: when obama pulls our troops out of iraq?
do you think that the mighty iraq army and police force will be able to keep terrorist groups from taking over the nation and exploiting their oil revenues to pay for them to be able to attack us?do you think without our armed forces leading the way that they really have a shot at controlling their own nation ?do you think terrorist groups will love it when were gone from there?what do you think the tarriest groups will do first when were gone?do you think by not finishing the job were making a mistake?...
