Can you give me some advice for an upcoming interview? I need to prepare for it. I have already researched the company, rehearsed a few commonly asked questions, ran through the job description and requirements.. However, usually, when I'm at the interview, I get so nervous that I forget what to say.. or I start to stutter. How do I prepare myself mentally and emotionally? Have you got any rehearsing techniques... i.e. so that I can remember all my answers? How to think faster and on the spot? Other information: * it is for a Media & Communications Coordinator role with an Educational Institution...

Brighton: Can't even get a part time job without Maths GCSE?
I failed my Maths GCSE in 2007 (I got an E). I've since applied for several part time jobs whilst I'm at college but haven't been successful in getting any. I blame this on not having a C in Maths GCSE. I have a job at the moment but absolutely hate it and am looking elsewhere just to earn money until I finish my course at college. Last year I attended a re-sit class but gave up on it. Not having the qualification is frustrating because if I can't even get a dead end job just to get some money, then I'm pretty screwed. My question is, should I attempt another re-sit (or take a test to earn an equivalent to at least a C in Maths), or should I just keep applying for...

Brighton: How do soldiers stay motivated?
If your homeland economy is in the tank, you don't know if you will keep getting your pay for fighting in the war. Your family back home has forgotten about you. Your wife has divorced you and found someone else because you never get to go home and see her. All of your friends back home have great jobs and are buying houses, cars, boats, and living the good life, while you have to sleep in the sand in a tent and get shot at all the time. The people back home don't support you. The media constantly tells you the war is pointless. You see innocent women and children die every day for no reason at all. How do I stay motivated?...

Brighton: Why are CEOs and Executives so stupid?
After receiving federal bailout money, (our taxes) AIG executives went on a 'business retreat' that involved golf outings, 5-star restaurants, 5-star hotels and spa treatments. After the media found out they had a field day, so what did AIG do? THEY DID IT A SECOND TIME. And they used the money (our taxes) to do all this - not only once, but twice. The Big three auto companies Ford, Chrysler and GM went to D.C. to beg for federal funding to save thousands upon thousands of jobs. They showed up in a private jet...each of them had their own. A private jet trip from Detroit to D.C. costs approx. $20,000. Why were they spending that kind of money if they are looking for government a...

Brighton: Is Barack Obama the most controversial President in American history?
I mean he hasn't set foot in the White House as President yet and already there are many questions surrounding this man, his background, his motives, his status as a citizen of the United States, his religious proclivities, his friends, how come the media didn't do their job in vetting this man?...

Brighton: Are we seeing the end of Free Trade and Globalization?
Globalization IS NOT NEW it occurred many times in the history of the world and it always ended. The longest it lasted was the 70-80 years before the Napoleonic Wars. Globalization occurred after World War I and before the depression. It has always ended and it will end again soon. When a politician like McCain gets up in Detroit and says their jobs are not coming back and they would be able to find new jobs that Free Trade is going to provide they seem ridiculously out of touch. Reagen did this in Pittsburgh when the Steel Industry collapsed and most people agreed with him back then. Development of the third world was only possible through the easy movement of capital and ...

Brighton: I am Absolutely stymied in my life i need help ive been unemployed for 2 years and have no high school diploma?
I need help im really smart well read I have gone to junior college and found out it was pretty much bs unless you wanna spend ton of cash and sacrifice mass hours of time to hopefully maybe get work. Yes that's my problem I have always seen through the crap im very smart what can I say I have worked at low paying jobs because of their ease and enjoyment. At times I have worked carp jobs but not always. Its kinda caught up to me I have no work experience besides basic maintenance I understand fully the key to wealth yet their is zero possibility of me achieving it without winning the lottery. College allows you to possibly get a high paying job which will suck about 12 hours a day of wo...
