Bourton On The Water: Is 4 - 6 cans of beer a night too much?
The beer is 4% a can. I don't drink to get smashed . In fact I hate that feeling of being really out of control drunk. I just like the mellow feeling a few cans gives me whilst listening to my music.
I can and have stopped for days/weeks at a time without a burning desire to drink alcohol. I really want to know the health effects it may have. I hold a steady full time job and it doesn't affect me there. I also have a girlfriend who sometimes cant even tell I've had a few beers....

Bourton On The Water: I KINDA WANT TO SWITCH MY MAJORS...IS THIS A GOOD PLAN?!?
I'm a first-time freshman in college and am in International Business.
The only reason I chose this major is because I'm good at languages and have studied abroad and get along with foreigners and love airplane food etc., but my major has the most requirements (if I learn a language) and I'll probably graduate at least 1 year later than planned because I'm learning my third language and plan to learn two more.
I'm great at languages and business, but the truth is that I really prefer marketing...i'm hyper creative (one reason i'm good at languages [and art, cooking, and music...but those are hard to make money with lol]) and always found it so thrilling....

Bourton On The Water: Severe case of Insomnia?
I'm currently a high school junior, but I've suffered from insomnia since elementary years, but it wasn't quite as bad back then. I'd get some sleep occasionally. Now, if I get even three hours of sleep, I consider myself lucky.
The odd thing is, when it comes time to wake up and get ready for school (6am), I'm hardly tired. In fact, it's as if I've gotten a good eight hour's of sleep. Bourton On The Water: Do I have to limit my college options? Please help?
My parents keep telling me I'm going to have to get a job to help pay for college, which I understand. But when I tell them that I'm interested in this out of state college, they get mad at me and tell me it'll be expensive enough sending me to our in state public university. I thought loans or assistance was possible?
I'm a high school junior. I have a 4.0 gpa, I'm taking IB classes (but I'm not full IB), I'm active in the music and theatre programs, I'm in KEY club and NHS. And on the PSAT last year, I scored above average.
Am I going to have to limit my college options to public in state colleges, simply because my parents don't think it&...

Bourton On The Water: Why won't people take responsibilty for their actions?
They'd rather pass the blame, but its ridiculous....for example:
It's McDonald's fault I'm fat (they don't MAKE you eat there....)
Its rock music's fault kids shoot up schools (no one cares that the kid was tortured or bullied or that thousands of other kids listen to the same music but do no harm)
I abuse my wife b/c my dad was abusive (even though you could be man enough to break away from his behavior)
I'm poor b/c I was raised that way (but you make no effort to get a job or improve yourself)

Bourton On The Water: What can i do with my teaching degree?
I got a BA in elementary teaching. I have a minor in music. I dont have a teaching license so most schools wont hire me. Im working on it though. Its taking time.
What can i do with a teaching degree in the mean time? Please suggest some specific jobs that i would be good at and use both of my degrees . And where or what state would be good for it. I live in NY.
