Is there even a chance I will get into Queen's Commerce?
It is my dream to go there but I don't feel like I have any chance.

I don't really understand it. I dated the most attractive girl in my school, I mean, shes miss teen international. Im very athletic. Im a decent looking guy. I am going to apply to Collage and i had picked out some collage in New Zealand, University Of Canterbury, The University Of Auckland, Victoria International W. and one in Canada Trent University. I don't really know much collage in Canada or US, if anyone of you no some, Please tell me. But i would wanna go to a Collage that doesn't require SAT score. Just TOEFL or IELTS.

Bourton On The Water: Things people dont tell you about university, help me please?
At the moment im a second student at uni and I dont really have many friends. There are like three people on my course that i am friends with so i see them every day but we only really talk about hte course and superficial stuff about their lives and friends. On some level i only think we talk because of the course, i dont think we'll keep in touch for long after uni, unless on of us needs something lol.
I do have one best friend that i live with and another friend who lives near by, but the sad thing i realised is all we talk about is how unfair it is that we havent found people we could be friends with at this uni! I hate to say this again but im not really that close to them eith...

A member of the Church of Jediisim is actually suing a job centre in the UK because they escorted him off the premises for refusing to remove his hood. For all we know he could of been trying to rob the place, and using this Star Wars costume as a way of concealing his identity.
Do you think this will even make it to court?

Bourton On The Water: Why can we not vote aged 16?
In the United Kingdom, at the age of 16 it is legal to leave school and get a full time job. Those choosing to do this will pay income tax on their earnings the same as everyone else. However, citizens are not legally allowed to vote until you are 18.
Why is this? Isn't this unfair? Does this not contravene some international human rights? If you are expected to pay tax, why are you not allowed a democratic say in how it is spent? Your thoughts on whether this should be changed?
Having seen some of the answers already, let me suggest something else...Perhaps if you think people aren't intelligent/experienced enough etc to vote at 16, why not excuse them from paying tax till they...

Bourton On The Water: 7 year old daughter doesn't WANT to move?
I have a 7 year old daughter who grew up in South East Asia from the age of 2. She has been living with her father (he works in that country) and I have been living in the UK, as I work as a teacher in the UK. She attends an international school, and life is comfortable right now. Except the fact that I need to be around her more than just school vacations when I am not working. (this is the way things turned out, don't judge me and assume i'm a bad mother, my daughter is fine, she is living comfortably, she is loved, she knows I love her more than anything.
